2014 PBA Governors' Cup
The 2014 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Governors' Cup, also known as the 2014 PLDT Home TelPad-PBA Governors' Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the third and last conference of the 2013–14 PBA season. The conference began on May 18 and ended on July 9, 2014. The tournament is an import-laden format, which requires an import or a pure-foreign player for each team, The recruited imports must be not taller than 6 feet and 5 inches for every team. The PBA on One Sports (formerly known as the PBA on AKTV, PBA on Sports5 and PBA on ESPN5) is the presentation of Philippine Basketball Association basketball games which started in the 2011-12 season. Telecasts are produced by One Sports (formerly Sports5 and ESPN5), the sports division of TV5 Network Inc., and aired through TV5, One Sports, PBA Rush and simulcasted through livestreaming at Cignal Play and Smart GigaPlay. Also, there is a separate coverage in English commentary on PBA Rush starting July 15, 2016. Manila Clasico refers to the rivalry between the two most popular professional basketball teams in the Philippines today, the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots, both owned by San Miguel Corporation. San Miguel Beermen
The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. The Barako Bull Energy were a Philippine Basketball Association team that began in 2002 as the FedEx Express. From its first season until 2005, the team was dubbed as the FedEx Express before changing to Air21 Express. The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall.
