2014 OFC Women's Nations Cup
The 2014 OFC Women's Nations Cup (also known as the 2014 OFC Women's Championship) was the 10th edition of the OFC Women's Nations Cup, and took place in Papua New Guinea from 25 to 29 October 2014. The football tournament was organised by the Oceania Football Confederation. It was the tenth edition of the tournament. New Zealand won the tournament without conceding a goal, thus winning their third straight edition and qualifying to the 2015 Women's World Cup. Hosts Papua New Guinea and New Zealand had submitted a bid for the tournament. Papua New Guinea was chosen at the OFC Executive Committee on 29 March 2014. Papua New Guinea had hosted the 2007 edition previously. Teams All eleven OFC members were eligible to participate but only four entered teams. Amber Liarnie Rose Hearn (born 28 November 1984) is a New Zealand association footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club EDF Logroño and the New Zealand women's national team, making her senior international debut in a 2–0 loss to Australia on 18 February 2004. Personal life Hearn is of Māori descent, and affiliates to the Ngāpuhi iwi. Club career At club level she has played in England for Arsenal and Doncaster Rovers Belles. Kokopo
Kokopo is the capital of East New Britain Province in Papua New Guinea. It is administered under Kokopo-Vunamami Urban LLG. The capital was moved from Rabaul in 1994 when the volcanoes Tavurvur and Vulcan erupted. As a result, the population of the town increased more than sixfold from 3,150 in 1990 to 20,262 in 2000.
