The 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships were contested in March 2014 at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas at the 80th annual NCAA-sanctioned swim meet to determine the team and individual national champions of Division I men's collegiate swimming and diving in the United States. California topped the team standings, the Golden Bears' fifth men's title and third in four years. The USC Trojans are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Southern California (USC), located in Los Angeles, California. While the men's teams are nicknamed the ''Trojans'', the women's athletic teams are referred to as either the Trojans or ''Women of Troy'' (the university officially approves both terms). Shane Patrick Ryan (born 27 January 1994) is an American-born Swimming (sport), swimmer who competes internationally for Ireland. Career Ryan was a 16-time All-American and 11-time All-State honoree as a swimmer for Haverford Senior High School. He was a member of the US National Junior Team in 2010-11 and 2011-12. Ryan initially competed at the Swimming at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Qualification, US Olympics trials in 2012, finishing in 28th, which did not qualify him for the US team. Arthur Frayler is an American competitive swimmer from Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. He was a national team member and attended the University of Florida. College career Frayler attended the University of Florida starting in 2013. He was honored as an All- SEC Freshman Honoree in 2013 and was named to the All-SEC First Team in 2014. In the same year, he was the SEC champion in the 1650 yard freestyle. He was named to the All-SEC Second Team in both 2015 and 2016. Jeremy Bagshaw (born 21 April 1992) is a Canadian swimmer and medical student. He competed in the men's 400 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships placing 16th. Training at the University of California-Berkeley, Bagshaw swam for the California Golden Bears Men's swimming team, helping bring them many victories. In 2014 he was named team captain, and the Bears brought home the NCAA's championship. He is currently the fastest 400m freestyler in Canada, holding the time of 3:48.88. Connor Lee Jaeger (born April 30, 1991) is a former American competition swimmer who specializes in distance freestyle events. Jaeger attended the University of Michigan where he was a three-time All-American. He was a member of the 2012 United States Olympic team, placing sixth in the 1500 metre freestyle at those Olympics, as well as the 2016 United States Olympic team, where he earned a silver medal in the same event. Cristian Daniel Quintero Valero (born 14 October 1992 in Maracay) is a Venezuelan swimmer. He is a member of the Venezuela national team, and represented his country at the London 2012 Summer Olympics. Quintero won a silver medal at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics for the 200 yard freestyle. He won gold medals in the 2010 South American Games as a part of the Venezuela's 400 meter and 800 meter freestyle relay teams.
