2014 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship
The 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship was a golf tournament contested from May 23–28, 2014 at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas. It was the 76th NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. The tournament was hosted by Wichita State University. The Alabama Crimson Tide won their second consecutive championship. Regional qualifying tournaments *The five teams with the lowest team scores qualified from each of the six regional tournaments for both the team and individual national championships. *The lowest scoring individual not affiliated with one of the qualified teams in their regional also qualified for the individual national championship. Hutchinson is the largest city and county seat in Reno County, Kansas, United States, and located on the Arkansas River. The Virginia Tech Hokies are the athletic teams representing the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) in intercollegiate athletics. The Hokies participate in the NCAA's Division I Atlantic Coast Conference in 22 varsity sports. Virginia Tech's men's sports are football, basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, and wrestling. Washington Huskies Men's Golf
The Washington Huskies are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Washington, located in Seattle. The school competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Washington students, sports teams, and alumni are called Huskies. The husky was selected as the school mascot by the Associated Students of UW in 1922. It replaced the "Sun Dodger," an abstract reference to the local weather that was quickly dropped in favor of something more tangible. The costumed "Harry the Husky" performs at sporting and special events, and a live Alaskan Malamute, currently named Dubs II, traditionally leads the football team onto the field at the start of games. Texas A&M Aggies Men's Golf
Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. The teams are also referred to as "A&M" or "Texas Aggies," and the official school colors are maroon and white. The mascot is a rough collie named Reveille. The sports teams compete in Division I of the NCAA. Until the dissolution of the Southwest Conference, Texas A&M was a charter member of that conference.
