The 2014 Melon Music Awards were held on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Organized by Kakao M through its online music store Melon, the 2014 ceremony was the sixth installment of the event. The red carpet event was hosted by Park Eun-ji and Takuya Terada. Olympic Gymnastics Arena
The Olympic Gymnastics Arena (), also known as the KSPO Dome since 2018, is an indoor arena located within the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea. It has a capacity of 15,000 and can be extended upto 20,000. It was constructed between 31 August 1984 and 30 April 1986, to host the gymnastics competitions at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The roof was designed by David H. Geiger. It is a self-supporting cable dome – the first of its kind ever built – with a four-layer fabric cladding. M.C The MAX () is a South Korean rock band. They debuted in 2000 as a 4-member band under the name Moon Child. After the departure of member Heo Jung-min, members Lee Soo, Jeon Min-hyuk and J. Yoon regrouped in 2002 as M.C the MAX. They were initially managed by the production company of Yoshiki, founding member of the Japanese heavy metal band X Japan. ''Girl's Day Everyday #3'' (also stylized as ''Girl's Day Everyday III'') is the fourth mini-album released by South Korean girl group, Girl's Day. It was released by Dream Tea Entertainment and distributed by Loen Entertainment on January 3, 2014. It consists of five songs, including the title track "Something", used to promote the EP on several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and ''Inkigayo''. A music video for the title track was also released on January 3. The EP was a commercial success peaking at number 3 on the Gaon Album Chart. Girl's Day () is a South Korean girl group formed by Dream T Entertainment in 2010. The group consists of members Sojin, Minah, Yura, and Hyeri. Members Jisun and Jiin officially left the group in 2010, while Jihae left in late 2012. Oh Hye-rin (born May 7, 1989), better known by her stage name Raina, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group After School and member of the sub-unit Orange Caramel. Kang Ji-hyun (born February 12, 1992), known professionally as Soyou, is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl group Sistar. Life and career 1992–2010: Early life and career beginnings Soyou was born on February 12, 1992, in Jeju Island, South Korea.
