2014 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The two-stage 2014 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 12, 2014 (Stage 1) and December 18, 2014 (Stage 2). All 20 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The priority order for the Re-Entry Draft was reverse order of finish in 2014, taking into account playoff performance.

MLS Re-Entry Draft
The MLS Re-Entry Draft is an annual event in which Major League Soccer teams select players who are out of contract or have had their options declined by their current teams. Although the single-entity league does not have true free agency, the re-entry draft was created to provide an outlet of internal movement for veteran players. History The Re-Entry Draft was created by the collective bargaining agreement reached in March 2010. Under the previous rules, clubs could hold what amounted to a 48-hour first right of refusal on players whose contracts had expired or did not have the options picked up. This was a significant obstacle to a new agreement during negotiations during the 2009-10 MLS offseason. With the players threatening to strike, the league and owners agreed to add the suggested re-entry draft to provide some leverage to players. Marvin Antonio Chávez (born November 3, 1983 in La Ceiba) is a Honduran footballer who played as a midfielder, most recently for C.D. Marathón in the Liga Nacional. Marvell Wynne (born May 8, 1986) is an American soccer coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the John Woods Community College Blazers’ men's team. He was a starting center back on the Rapids' 2010 MLS Cup Championship team. Personal Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Wynne is the son of former Major League Baseball player Marvell Wynne. Brian Mullan
Brian Mullan (born April 23, 1978) is an American former soccer player. He played for the Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes, Houston Dynamo, and Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer. He won 5 MLS Cups, 2 Supporters' Shields, and 1 U.S. Open Cup during his career. He is one of only four players to have won MLS Cup five or more times. Kamani Helekunihi Hill (born December 28, 1985) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward or winger. Early years Hill was born in Berkeley, California to a Trinidadian father and an American mother of Hawaiian origin. Edson Michael Buddle (born May 21, 1981) is an American retired Footballer who is currently the head coach of USL League Two side Westchester Flames. He is one of only 11 players to have scored 100 goals in Major League Soccer history. Daniel Paladini (born November 11, 1984 in Northridge, California) is an American soccer player. Career Youth and college Paladini was twice named an all-state selection as a high schooler at St. Francis High School in 2000 and 2001, and played club soccer for Real SoCal for many years. At Cal State Northridge he was a first team All-Big West selection in 2004 and 2005, and scored seven goals and added four assists in 2005 en route to Big West Conference midfielder of the year honors.
