2014 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship
The 2014 IIHF World Women's U18 Championships was the seventh IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. Organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the ice hockey tournament was played at two rinks of the Jégpalota (; called 'Icecenter' in IIHF documents) in Budapest, Hungary, from 23 to 30 March 2014. Sarah Potomak
Sarah Potomak (born December 19, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey player who competed with the Under-18 Canadian national women's hockey team. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2015 4 Nations Cup, held in November 2015 in Sundsvall, Sweden. Along with her sister Amy Potomak, they are the first sister duo named to the roster of Canada's national women's ice hockey team. The two played together in a two-game series against the United States national women's ice hockey team in December 2016. Playing career Along with fellow British Columbia resident Micah Zandee-Hart, Potomak was invited to participate in the IIHF’s 2013 Women’s High Performance Camp in Sheffield, England. Matilda Nilsson
Matilda Nilsson (born 2 March 1997) is a Finnish ice hockey player, playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Frölunda HC Dam. As a member of the Finnish national ice hockey team, she won a bronze medal at the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship. Playing career Nilsson grew up in Kirkkonummi, a municipality in the western Greater Helsinki region, where she began playing ice hockey at age 5. Her youth club was HC Salamat and she played on boys’ teams throughout her childhood until age 16. Regarding the experience, she has said, "I am so grateful that I got to play in boys. Tereza Vanišová (born 30 January 1996) is a Czech professional ice hockey player for PWHL Montreal of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and a member of the Czech Republic women's national ice hockey team. She was drafted in the seventh round, 42nd overall, by Montreal in the 2023 PWHL Draft. Playing career College Across 129 NCAA games played with the Maine Black Bears women's ice hockey program, Vanisova recorded 63 goals and 66 assists for 129 total points. Hannah Miller (born October 29, 1996) is an American figure skater. She is the 2014 Ice Challenge champion, 2014 Lombardia Trophy silver medalist, and 2012 JGP Final silver medalist. Personal life Hannah Miller was born in Chicago, Illinois, while her father was a member of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks. Victoria Bach (born July 12, 1996) is a Canadian women's ice hockey player with PWHL Toronto of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and the Canadian national team.
