2014 Fordham Rams Football Team
The 2014 Fordham Rams football team represented Fordham University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by third-year head coach Joe Moorhead and played their home games at Coffey Field. They were a member of the Patriot League. They finished the season 11–3, 6–0 in Patriot League play to win the Patriot League championship. They received the Patriot's automatic bid to the FCS Playoffs where they defeated the Sacred Heart in the first round before losing in the second round to New Hampshire. Joe Moorhead
Joe Moorhead (born November 2, 1973) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at the University of Akron. He was the offensive coordinator at the University of Oregon from 2020 to 2021, and the head coach at Mississippi State University from 2018 to 2019. Prior to entering coaching, Moorhead played as a quarterback at Fordham University from 1992 to 1995 and professionally for the Munich Cowboys of the German Football League in 1996-1997. Coaching career Early years After a short professional playing career, the Pittsburgh-born Moorhead began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at the University of Pittsburgh. He was hired as running backs coach at Georgetown University in 2000, eventually being elevated to quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator by 2003. Goodman Stadium is Lehigh University's 16,000-seat stadium located on its Goodman Campus in Lower Saucon Township. The 2014 Penn Quakers football team represented the University of Pennsylvania in the 2014 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Fitton Field is a football stadium in Worcester, Massachusetts primarily used for College of the Holy Cross sporting events. The stadium opened in 1908 as the official home for the Holy Cross Crusaders football team. Before that, most games were played on the adjoining baseball field.
