2014 EurAsia Cup
The 2014 EurAsia Cup presented by DRB-HICOM was the first edition of the EurAsia Cup, a team golf event contested between teams representing Asia and Europe. It was held from 27–29 March at the Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The match ended in a 10–10 tie and, under the rules of the inaugural event, the Cup was shared between the teams. The event had a $4,000,000 purse; $300,000 to each member of the winning team and $100,000 to each member of the losing team. Shah Alam
Shah Alam () is a city and the state capital of Selangor, Malaysia and situated within the Petaling District and a small portion of the neighbouring Klang District. Nicholas Fung
Nicholas Fung (born 18 May 1990) is a Malaysian professional golfer. Asian Development Tour Fung won the Order of Merit (money title) on the 2013 Asian Development Tour (ADT). He won ADT events in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Asian Tour Fung has competed for multiple seasons on the Asian Tour. He captured his maiden title at the 2017 Queen's Cup, claiming a one-stroke victory over Jazz Janewattananond of Thailand. Thorbjørn Olesen
Jacob Thorbjørn Olesen (born 21 December 1989) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, where he has won six times including the 2016 Turkish Airlines Open and the 2018 Italian Open. He has also won two important pairs events, representing Denmark, the 2016 World Cup of Golf with Søren Kjeldsen and the 2017 GolfSixes with Lucas Bjerregaard. is a Japanese professional golfer. He has won 17 tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour. Professional career Tanihara has won 14 tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour and featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking. His highest ranking came in June 2017 when he reached 47th. Graeme McDowell
Graeme McDowell (born 30 July 1979) is a professional golfer from Northern Ireland. He has a total of eleven tournament victories on the European Tour, and four on the PGA Tour, including one major championship, the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. In 2022, he joined LIV Golf. Mohammad Siddikur Rahman ( bn, মোহাম্মদ সিদ্দিকুর রহমান) (born 20 November 1984) is a Bangladeshi professional golfer who plays on the Asian Tour. As an amateur, Siddikur won twelve events in Asia, winning five times in Bangladesh, two in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal and one in India. Siddikur turned professional in 2005 and joined the Professional Golf Tour of India in 2006. Willibrordus Adrianus Maria "Joost" Luiten (born 7 January 1986) is a Dutch professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Koumei Oda
is a Japanese professional golfer. Career Oda was born in Tagawa, Fukuoka. He turned professional in 2000. Oda won the 2008 Casio World Open and the 2009 Token Homemate Cup. Pablo Larrazábal Corominas (born 15 May 1983) is a Spanish professional golfer currently playing on the European Tour. He also played in the inaugural LIV Golf Invitational Series event at the Centurion Club. Early life Larrazábal was born in Barcelona, Spain. He attended high school in the United States and returned to Spain in 2002 with the intention of turning professional but his father made him work on the family fish farm in Cantabria to understand the value of money. Prayad Marksaeng ( th, ประหยัด มากแสง; born 30 January 1966) is a Thai professional golfer. Career Prayad was a member of Thailand's winning golf team at the 1987 South East Asian Games and turned professional in 1991. He has been a member of the Asian Tour since it began in its modern form in 1995. He has won seven events on the tour, becoming one of the first ten men to reach a million U.S. dollars in career earnings. Stephen James Gallacher (born 1 November 1974) is a Scottish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Early life and amateur career Gallacher was born in Dechmont, West Lothian and is the nephew of former European Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher and cousin of Sky Sports news presenter Kirsty Gallacher. Anirban Lahiri (born 29 June 1987) is an Indian professional golfer. He has played on the Asian Tour, European Tour, PGA Tour and LIV Golf. Lahiri is recipient of the 2014 Arjuna Award.
