2014 Cyprus Cup
The 2014 Cyprus Women's Cup was the seventh edition of the Cyprus Women's Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Cyprus. It took place between 5–12 March 2014. France won the final over defending champions England. For the first time, Canada did not reach the final, eventually finishing in fifth place. Format The first phase of the tournament was a group stage in which the twelve invited teams were divided into three groups of four teams. Each group was a round-robin of six games, where each team played one match against each of the other teams in the same group. Lisa Catherine Evans (born 21 May 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for West Ham United in the FA WSL, the top-tier for women's football in England, and for the Scotland national team. Toni Duggan (born 25 July 1991) is an English footballer who plays as a winger or forward for Everton and the England national team, but is currently on a hiatus/maternity leave, after announcing her pregnancy on 27 September 2022. Katrina-Lee Gorry (born 13 August 1992) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Brisbane Roar in the A-League and for the Australia national team.
