The 2014 Auburn Tigers football team represented Auburn University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Gus Malzahn, who was in his second season as head coach at Auburn. The Tigers played their home games at Jordan–Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama and competed in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They finished the season 8–5, 4–4 in SEC play to finish in a tie for fourth place in the Western Division. They were invited to the Outback Bowl where they lost to Wisconsin. Gus Malzahn
Arthur Gustavo Malzahn III (; born October 28, 1965) is an American football coach. He is currently the head coach at the University of Central Florida (UCF Knights football, UCF). He was the head football coach at Auburn University from 2013 to 2020. During the 2012 season he was the head football coach at Arkansas State University, after being the offensive coordinator at Auburn (2009 to 2011). In 2010, the 2010 Auburn Tigers football team, Auburn Tigers won the College football national championships in NCAA Division I FBS, national championship, Malzahn received the Broyles Award, which recognizes the top assistant coach in college football. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Gregory Keith Robinson (born October 21, 1992) is a former American football offensive tackle. After playing college football at Auburn Tigers football, Auburn, he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams second overall in the 2014 NFL Draft. Trence Mason (born August 6, 1993) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Auburn and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
