2014 ADAC Formel Masters Season
The 2014 ADAC Formel Masters was the seventh and the final season of the ADAC Formel Masters series, an open-wheel motor racing series for emerging young racing drivers based in Germany. The season began on 26 April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and finished on 5 October at Hockenheim after eight race weekends, totalling 24 races. Neuhauser Racing Team driver Mikkel Jensen dominated the battle for the drivers' championship from start to finish taking ten wins from the 24 races on his way to the championship title with a round to spare. The other race wins were shared between his teammate Tim Zimmermann, ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg drivers Maximilian Günther and Marvin Dienst, Schiller Motorsport driver Fabian Schiller, as well as Lotus drivers Dennis Marschall and Joel Eriksson. 2014 ADAC GT Masters
The 2014 ADAC GT Masters season was the eighth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the German automobile club ADAC. The season started on 26 April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben and ended on 5 October at Hockenheim after eight double-header meetings. The drivers' championship was won by Prosperia C. Abt Racing pairing René Rast and Kelvin van der Linde, finishing 26 points of their nearest rival, Jaap van Lagen of GW IT Racing Team Schütz Motorsport. A further four points behind in third place was Callaway Competition's Daniel Keilwitz, the defending series champion. Keilwitz won the most races during the season with six victories; winning four with Andreas Wirth and two with Oliver Gavin, who split the season alongside Keilwitz. Rast and van der Linde won three races during the season, while van Lagen won two with Kévin Estre. Giorgio Maggi
Giorgio Maggi (born 18 December 1997) is a Swiss professional racing driver. He competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series' EuroNASCAR PRO division, driving the No. 18 Toyota Camry for Race Art Technology. He has also raced in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Career Maggi ran the 2019 season in the Whelen Euro Elite 2 series, finishing 2nd in the standings with 3 wins. Maggi spent the 2020 season in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, finishing 11th in the standings with 1 podium. Maggi attempted to qualify for his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the 2021 Pennzoil 150, but failed to qualify. The Sachsenring () is a motorsport racing circuit located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal near Chemnitz in Saxony, Germany. Among other events, it features the annual German motorcycle Grand Prix of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing world championship. The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009. Description New Zealand race car driver Matt Halliday suggested that the rear engine Porsches struggled with Slovakia Ring's long radius corners with much less front aerodynamics than the other cars. A major feature of the circuit is a prominent hump on one of the straights that causes some cars to fly with the front wheels off the ground. Only one car has flipped over entirely and crashed after going over the hump at a high speed. Prior to start of the 2014 season the hump between turns 2 and 3 was rebuilt. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . The Lausitzring (formally known as the Dekra Lausitzring for ownership reasons) is a race track located near Klettwitz (a civil parish of Schipkau, Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) in the state of Brandenburg in northeast Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. It was originally named Lausitzring as it is located in the region the Germans call Lausitz (Lusatia), but was renamed EuroSpeedway Lausitz for better international communication from 2000 to 2010. The EuroSpeedway has been in use for motor racing since 2000. Among other series, DTM (German Touring Car Championship) takes place there annually. Circuit Zandvoort (), known for sponsorship reasons as CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, and previously known as Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, the Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix. Joel Eriksson (racing Driver)
Joel Eriksson (born 28 June 1998) is a Swedish racing driver who last competed in the 2021 ADAC GT Masters with KÜS Team Bernhard. Career Karting Eriksson began his karting career in 2007. He remained in karting until 2014. Formula 4 In 2014, Eriksson made his debut in open-wheel racing in the ADAC Formel Masters. In 2015 he stayed in the series, now called ADAC Formula 4, and finished the season second in the standings.
