2014 ACC Championship Game
The 2014 ACC Championship Game is the tenth football championship game for the Atlantic Coast Conference. It featured the Florida State Seminoles, winners of the ACC's Atlantic Division, and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, winners of the ACC's Coastal Division. Bank of America Stadium is a 74,867-seat football stadium located on in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. It is the home facility and headquarters of the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League and Charlotte FC of Major League Soccer. 2014 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football Team
The 2014 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Yellow Jackets were led by seventh-year head coach Paul Johnson and played their home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium. They were a member of the Coastal Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. After going 7–6 in 2013, the Yellow Jackets entered 2014 unranked. Georgia Tech won its first five games of the season, which included comeback victories over Georgia Southern and Virginia Tech, and end a five-game losing streak to Miami (FL). 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Football Season
The 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference football season was the 62nd season of college football play for the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). It was played from August 2014 to January 2015. 2014 was first season of play in the ACC for former American Athletic Conference member Louisville, which replaced ACC charter member Maryland after their move to the Big Ten Conference. Although the Notre Dame football program is not a member of the ACC, it has an agreement to play five ACC schools per season in football starting in 2014. This is in return for access to the non-College Football Playoff ACC bowl line-up. The Irish are not eligible for the ACC Championship Game. Rashad Greene
Rashad Greene Sr. (born September 23, 1992) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Florida State, and was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Early years Greene attended Westover Comprehensive High School from 2007 to 2009, where he played football and was a standout at wide receiver. Greene was a standout track & field athlete in sprints and relays at Westover. He recorded a personal-best time of 48.27 seconds in the 400 meters at the 2009 GA State 3A Class on his way to a third-place finish. Roberto Jose Aguayo (born May 17, 1994) is an American football placekicker who is a free agent. He played college football at Florida State University, where he was the most accurate kicker in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history and third in NCAA history. Harrison Butker (born July 14, 1995), nicknamed Butt Kicker (a play on words on his last name and position), is an American football kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
