The Slovenian First League of Handball ( sl, 1. A državna rokometna liga), currently named Liga NLB due to sponsorship reasons, is the top team handball league in Slovenia. It is one of the three major settlements in the Lower Sava Valley. The old town of Sevnica lies beneath Sevnica Castle, which is perched on top of Castle Hill, while the new part of town stretches along the plain among the hills up the Sava Valley, forming another town core at the confluence of the Sevnična and Sava rivers. Maribor
Maribor ( , , , ; also known by other #Name, historical names) is the second-largest city in Slovenia and the largest city of the traditional region of Styria (Slovenia), Lower Styria. Krško
Krško (; german: Gurkfeld) is a town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the City municipality of Krško. The town lies on the Sava River and on the northwest edge of the Krško Plain ( sl, Krško polje), which is part of the larger Krka Flat ( sl, Krška ravan). The area is divided between the traditional regions of Styria (territory on the left bank of the Sava) and Lower Carniola (territory on the right bank of the Sava). Red Hall (Slovenia)
Red Hall ( sl, Rdeča dvorana) is a sports facility arena in Velenje, Slovenia. It is the home arena of handball club Gorenje Velenje. The venue can accommodate 2,500 spectators. History The construction of the venue began on 24 August 1974 and was finished in 1975. The Red Hall had its unofficial opening on 11 October 1975. At first, it was built to host different kinds of fairs, and not sports events.
