The 2013–14 Football League One, 2013–14 season was Shrewsbury's second consecutive season back in Football League One, League One after achieving a 16th-placed finish the previous season. Veteran manager Graham Turner resigned following six consecutive home defeats in January 2014, and was replaced by former player and coach Michael Jackson (footballer, born 1973), Michael Jackson who could not prevent subsequent relegation to Football League Two, League Two. Shrewsbury Town F
Shrewsbury ( , also ) is a market town, civil parish, and the county town of Shropshire, England, on the River Severn, north-west of London; at the 2021 census, it had a population of 76,782. Jermaine Grandison
Jermaine Mickel Grandison (born 5 December 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender. Grandison progressed through the youth system at Coventry City, making eight appearances for the first-team. He had three loan spells away from the club, twice at Tranmere Rovers in the 2010–11 season, and then Shrewsbury Town later in the same season. Danny Coyne
Daniel Coyne (born 27 August 1973) is a Welsh football coach and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a goalkeeper who played between 1992 and 2018. He came through the youth ranks at Tranmere Rovers during the 1992–93 season. Coyne eventually went on to become the club's first choice keeper and went on to make 111 appearances in the league before signing for Grimsby Town in the summer of 1999. He spent four seasons at Blundell Park, two of which saw him named "Supporters' Player of the Season" and thus becoming an integral part of every Grimsby team he played in. John Marsden (footballer)
John Edward Marsden (born 9 December 1992) is an English footballer. He has previously played in the Football League for Shrewsbury Town, and had a nomadic career in non-league football. Career Marsden played youth team football with Wrexham and Wigan Athletic, and was a prolific goal scorer for Liverpool Schoolboys at under-14 and under-15 levels. He joined Scottish club Celtic at the age of 16, signing a professional contract. He spent the 2010–11 season on loan to Hamilton Academical's youth team. Whilst at Celtic, Marsden suffered a broken foot, all but ending his chances of breaking into the first team, and was subsequently released. Alexander Michael McQuade (born 7 November 1992) is an English footballer playing for Widnes. He had a short spell playing in the Football League for Shrewsbury Town. Career Bolton Wanderers and Shrewsbury Town McQuade began his career with Bolton Wanderers. Having progressed through the academy system, he signed a one-year professional contract in July 2012.
