2013–14 PSV Eindhoven Season
The 2013–14 PSV Eindhoven season saw PSV competing in the Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. PSV finished the season in 4th place in the Eredivisie, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League again, were knocked out of the KNVB Cup by Roda JC in the Third Round. In Europe PSV were knocked out of the Champions League at the Play-off Round by A.C. Milan, ending up in the Europa League group stages, from which they did not progress. Phillip Cocu was appointed as the team's coach at the start of the season, replacing Dick Advocaat. PSV Eindhoven
Philips Sport Vereniging (; en, Philips Sports Association ), abbreviated as PSV and internationally known as PSV Eindhoven (), is a Dutch sports club from Eindhoven, Netherlands. It is best known for its professional football department, which has played in the Eredivisie, the top tier in Dutch football, since its inception in 1956. Along with Ajax and Feyenoord, PSV is one of the country's " big three" clubs that have dominated the Eredivisie. The club was founded in 1913 as a team for Philips employees. PSV's history contains two golden eras revolving around the UEFA Cup victory in 1978 and the 1987–88 European Cup victory as part of the seasonal treble in 1988. Jeffrey Kevin van Homoet Bruma (born 13 November 1991), commonly known as Jeffrey Bruma (), is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa S.K., Kasımpaşa. Memphis Depay (; born 13 February 1994), also known simply as Memphis, is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Barcelona and the Netherlands national team. Memphis began his professional career with PSV Eindhoven, where, under the influence of manager Phillip Cocu, he became an integral part of the team, scoring 49 goals in 124 games across all competitions. Jeroen Zoet
Jeroen Zoet (; born 6 January 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Spezia. Having started his career at PSV Eindhoven, Zoet previously played two seasons on loan for RKC Waalwijk before returning to PSV Eindhoven to establish himself as the first choice goalkeeper. He has been highly regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the Eredivisie. Peter van Ooijen (born 16 February 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Helmond Sport. Zakaria Bakkali (born 26 January 1996) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. Luciano Narsingh
Luciano Narsingh (born 13 September 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Ekstraklasa club Miedź Legnica. He is right-footed and usually plays as a right winger but can also play as a left winger, and both side of attacking midfield. Jetro Danovich Sexer Willems (born 30 March 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left wing-back or left-back. Tim Matavž (born 13 January 1989) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Croatian club Gorica.
