2013–14 Inter Milan Season
The 2013–14 season was Football Club Internazionale Milano's 105th in existence and 98th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. The team competed in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, finishing fifth in the league and qualifying for the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League. Season overview On 24 May 2013, five days after the conclusion of the season, head coach Andrea Stramaccioni was fired and replaced by Walter Mazzarri. The June begun with Inter announcing the new one-year contract renewals of veterans Javier Zanetti and Walter Samuel. Players such as Tommaso Rocchi and Walter Gargano left the club after their respective contract expired. Antonio Cassano was sold at Parma for an undisclosed fee, while Giulio Donati and Luca Caldirola were sold in Germany respectively to Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen. 2012–13 Serie A
The 2012–13 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 111th season of top-tier Italian football, the 81st in a round-robin tournament, and the 3rd since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 25 August 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. Juventus were the defending champions. A total of 20 teams contested the league, comprising 17 sides from the 2011–12 season and three promoted from the 2011–12 Serie B. As in the previous years, Nike provided the official ball for all matches, with a new Nike Maxim Serie A model to be used throughout the season for all matches. On 21 August 2012, FIGC allowed Serie A teams to have up to 12 substitution players on the bench for each game. Hugo Armando Campagnaro (; born 27 June 1980) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a centre back. A full international for Argentina since 2012, Campagnaro has earned 17 caps for his country, and two years later was selected for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where he won a runners-up medal. Giulio Donati (born 5 February 1990) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for club Monza. Club career Inter Milan Primavera and first team Born in Pietrasanta, the Province of Lucca, Donati started his career at hometown club Lucchese. Walter Gargano
Walter Alejandro Gargano Guevara (; born 23 July 1984) is a Uruguayan footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for River Plate. Club career Youth career Gargano started playing football aged three and joined the now defunct youth club Centella in Paysandú. In the youth club, he was in the midfield position. Tommaso Rocchi (; born 19 September 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as striker. He spent a large part of his career with Lazio and is the club's sixth highest goalscorer of all time, three behind Bruno Giordano. At international level, Rocchi was capped three times for the Italy national team.
