2013–14 FC Basel Season
The 2013–14 FC Basel season was the 121st season in the club's history and the club's 19th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football. Basel started the season as were the reigning champions of the Super League champions. They commenced the season with a number of friendly matches against teams from Switzerland, Serbia and Germany. Their league campaign on 13 July with a home tie against FC Aarau. After the first six games, they occupied the fourth position in the league table, six points behind the leader Young Boys Bern. Beating the Young Boys in the seventh round, Basel then went on an unbeaten run of 29 league game, which lead them to their fifth league title in a row. Their campaign in the 2013–14 Swiss Cup began with the first round on 17 August with an away game against BSC Old Boys, which they won after extra time. The 2014–15 FC Basel season was the 122nd season in club history and the club's 20th consecutive season in the top flight of Swiss football. Basel were the reigning Swiss Super League champions. They prepared their season with various warm-up matches against teams from Switzerland, Austria and Czech Republic. Their 2014–15 Swiss Super League season began on 19 July with an away game against Aarau. Basel qualified for the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League, starting in the group stage. They were drawn in Group B against Real Madrid, Liverpool and Ludogorets Razgrad and started on 16 July with an away tie against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Fussball-Club Luzern (), or simply abbreviated to FCL, is a Swiss sports club based in Lucerne (german: Luzern). FC Tuggen is a Swiss football club from the town of Tuggen in Canton Schwyz, the German-speaking region of Switzerland. The club was founded in 1966 and currently plays in 1. Liga Promotion, the third highest tier in the Swiss football pyramid. History The club was founded on 11 November 1966 as SC Tuggen. In 1976 the club changed its name to FC Tuggen. Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a Draw (tie), tie or draw where the scores are the same. Basler Sportclub Old Boys, commonly known as BSC Old Boys, Old Boys Basel or simply Old Boys or when written just OB, is a Swiss sports club based in Basel. BSC Young Boys (YB by short abbreviation ) are a Swiss sports club based in Bern, Switzerland. Its first team has won 15 Swiss league championships and six Swiss Cups. FC Aarau
FC Aarau is a Swiss football club based in Aarau. They play in the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of Swiss football after being relegated from Swiss Super League. History FC Aarau was formed on 26 May 1902 by workers from a local brewery. The early days of the club were a success and they won the Swiss championship in 1911–12 and then again in 1913–14.
