The 2013–14 Denver Nuggets season was the 47th season of the franchise, and its 38th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Nuggets struggled for much of the year, finishing with a 36–46 record, missing the playoffs for the first time in 11 years. Brian Shaw
Brian Keith Shaw (born March 22, 1966) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He could play both guard positions, but was used primarily at point guard over the course of his 14 seasons in the league. Early life Shaw grew up in Oakland, California with other future basketball stars such as Antonio Davis, Jason Kidd, and Gary Payton, as well as Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell. In his youth, he was a participant at the East Oakland Youth Development Center, a local community organization where he played basketball. He attended Westlake Middle School and then Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland. Erick Green
Erick O'Brien Green (born May 9, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Budućnost VOLI in the Prva A Liga and the ABA League. He finished the 2012–13 NCAA Division I season as the top scorer in the nation at 25.0 points per game. Green was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 46th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft, but was later traded to the Denver Nuggets. High school career Green was born in Inglewood, California but grew up in Winchester, Virginia. He spent the first three years of his prep career at his hometown's Millbrook High School, before transferring for his senior year to Fairfax's Paul VI Catholic High School. Jordan Christian Hamilton (born October 6, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Nishinomiya Storks of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for the University of Texas. High school career Hamilton began his high school career at Susan Miller Dorsey High School where he averaged 26 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per game as a sophomore. After three years at Dorsey, he transferred to Manuel Dominguez High School, playing under Russell Otis. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. Patrick Mutombo
Patrick Mutombo (born March 7, 1980) is a Congolese professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In his playing career, he was a Division II All-American college player at Metropolitan State University and played professionally in several countries, most notably in Italy's Lega Basket Serie A. College career Mutombo played for Metro State, coached by Mike Dunlap, from 1999 to 2003. In his time there he was a member of two NCAA Division II national championship teams in 2000 and 2002. Melvin Hunt (born December 15, 1969) is an American professional basketball coach who last served as an assistant coach of the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life A native of Tallulah, Louisiana, Hunt earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in education from Baylor University where he spent four years on the basketball team.
