2013–14 Aberdeen F.C. Season
The 2013–14 season was Aberdeen's 101st season in the top flight of Scottish football. Aberdeen competed in the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup. They won the Scottish League Cup in March 2014 with a win on penalties after a 0–0 draw against Inverness CT and reached the semi-final of the Scottish Cup. In the league, they finished in third place behind Celtic and Motherwell, qualifying for Europe for the first time since 2009. Nicky Low (born 6 January 1992) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Clydebank. Low has previously played for Dundee, Aberdeen, Forfar Athletic, Alloa Athletic, Derry City, Queen of the South, Arbroath and had a loan spell at Kelty Hearts. Malahide ( ; ) is an affluent coastal settlement in Fingal, County Dublin, Ireland, situated north of Dublin city. It has a village centre surrounded by suburban housing estates, with a population of over 17,000. Peter Ian Pawlett (born 3 February 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Dundee United. He spent much of his early career at Aberdeen and has also played for St Johnstone and Milton Keynes Dons. He has been capped for Scotland at U19 and U21 levels. Jonny Hayes
Jonathan Hayes (born 9 July 1987) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a winger for the Scottish Premiership team Aberdeen and Republic of Ireland. He began his career in England with Reading, but did not break through to their first team, serving two loan spells prior to being released. Picked up by Leicester City, his opportunities were also limited and again he went out on loan twice. Huntly ( gd, Srath Bhalgaidh or ''Hunndaidh'') is a town in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, formerly known as Milton of Strathbogie or simply Strathbogie. It had a population of 4,460 in 2004 and is the site of Huntly Castle. Its neighbouring settlements include Keith and Rothiemay. Both Huntly and the surrounding district of Gordon are named for a town and family that originated in the Border country. Christie Park is a association football, football ground in the town of Huntly in the north-east of Scotland. It is the home ground of Highland Football League side Huntly F.C. It is located on East Park Street in the north-east of the town and has a capacity of 2,200 with 270 seated. History The ground was previously known as Strathbogie Park from 1921 when it opened, until 1926 when it was renamed Christie Park. The ground takes its name from former Provost Christie who acquired the ground and donated it to the football club on the condition that they remained amateur.
