Kjetil Borch (born 14 February 1990) is a Norwegian representative rower. He is a dual Olympian, an Olympic medallist and a two-time world champion. He has been selected as a 2021 Tokyo Olympian and is expected to make his third Olympic appearance racing the single scull for Norway. Rowing career Born in Tønsberg, Norway Borch began rowing in 2001, before taking a break and then starting again in 2004. He rows from the Horten Roklubb on the Oslofjord near Tonsberg. Rowing career Thomas competed at the 2013 World Rowing Championships in Chungju, where he won a bronze medal as part of the quad sculls with Sam Townsend, Charles Cousins and Peter Lambert. The following year he competed at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Bosbaan, Amsterdam, where he won a silver medal as part of the quadruple sculls with Townsend, Cousins and Lambert. Lauritz Schoof (born 7 October 1990 in Rendsburg) is a German rower. He was part of the German crew that won the gold medal in the men's quadruple sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He also successfully defended the quadruple sculls title at the 2016 Rio Olympics as part of the German team. Career Schoof was successful at junior and under-23 level, winning a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in the men's quadruple sculls (with Mario Jadatz, Christopher Schang and Bastian Bechler), and gold in the junior men's double sculls with Martin Menger, as well as winning gold in the single sculls at the 2009 U23 World Championship.
