2013 Women's EuroHockey Championship II
The 2013 Women's EuroHockey Championship II was the 5th edition of the Women's EuroHockey Championship II It was held from the 21st until the 28th of July 2013 in Cambrai, France. The tournament also served as a qualifier for the 2015 EuroHockey Championship with the finalists, Italy and Poland, qualifying. Qualified teams Format The eight teams were split into two groups of four teams. The top two teams advanced to the semifinals to determine the winner in a knockout system. The bottom two teams played in a new group with the teams they did not play against in the group stage. The last two teams were relegated to the EuroHockey Championship III. The 2015 Women's EuroHockey Championship III was the 6th edition of the Women's EuroHockey Championship III, a field hockey championship for women. It was held from the 20th until the 25th of August 2015 in Sveti Ivan Zelina, Croatia. Farida Jafar gizi Mammadova ( az, Fəridə Cəfər qızı Məmmədova; 8 August 1936 – 8 December 2021) was an Azerbaijani historian who specialized in the history of ancient Caucasian Albania. She was a lecturer at the Western Caspian University and Baku State University and worked for the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Career Mammadova authored numerous research papers, articles and books on Azerbaijani ancient and medieval history. She lectured at the Baku State University, Azerbaijan Pedagogical University, and was the head of the Department of Humanities in the Western University in Baku.
