2013 Tercera División Play-offs
The 2013 Tercera División play-offs to Segunda División B from Tercera División (Promotion play-offs) were the final playoffs for the promotion from 2012–13 Tercera División to 2013–14 Segunda División B. The first four teams in each group (excluding reserve teams) took part in the play-off. Format The eighteen group winners have the opportunity to be promoted directly to Segunda División B. The eighteen group winners were drawn into a two-legged series where the nine winners will promote to Segunda División B. The nine losing clubs will enter the play-off round for the last nine promotion spots. The eighteen runners-up were drawn against one of the seventeen fourth-placed clubs outside their group and the eighteen third-placed clubs were drawn against one another in a two-legged series. 2012–13 Tercera División
The 2012–13 Tercera División was the fourth tier of football in Spain. Play started on 24 August 2012 and the season ended on 30 June 2013 with the promotion play-off finals. Overview There were 359 clubs competing in Tercera División (Third division) in the 2012–13 season, divided into 18 regional groups, accommodating between 18 and 21 clubs. Manuel Barreiro Bustelo
Manuel 'Manu' Barreiro Bustelo (born 8 July 1986) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Lugo as a forward. Club career Born in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Barreiro was a Valencia CF youth graduate. He made his debut as a senior with the reserves in the 2004–05 season, in the Tercera División. After prolific lower league spells at CD Lalín and Algeciras CF, Barreiro joined Cádiz CF on 31 January 2008. Initially assigned to the B side, he made his first-team debut on 20 April 2008, coming on as a late substitute for Natalio in a 1–0 Segunda División away win against CD Numancia. Barreiro scored his first professional goal on 18 May 2008, but in a 5–2 loss at RC Celta de Vigo. After the club's relegation to the Segunda División B, he was definitely promoted to the main squad. The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaker, tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals "Road (sports), away from home" wins.
