2013 Speedway European Championship
The 2013 Speedway European Championship season was the premiere season of the Speedway European Championship era, and decided the 13th UEM Individual Speedway European Championship. It was the first series under the promotion of One Sport Lts. of Poland. The 2013 Speedway European Championship was won by Martin Vaculík from Slovakia Qualification For the 2013 season there are 15 permanent riders, joined at each SEC Final by one wild card and two track reserves. Defending champion, Aleš Dryml, Jr. of Czech Republic, was invited to participate in all finals event, as of top European Grand Prix riders: Tomasz Gollob of Poland, Nicki Pedersen of Denmark, Andreas Jonsson of Sweden and Emil Sayfutdinov of Russia. Martin Vaculík
Martin Vaculík (born 5 April 1990) is a Slovak motorcycle speedway rider who is riding for the Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski in the Speedway Ekstraliga, Polish Speedway Ekstraliga. Career On the 6 May 2008, Vaculík gained a Polski Związek Motorowy, Polish speedway licence (''Licencja "Ż"'') at KS Toruń, Toruń. and from 4 June 2008 he has taken part in the Polish Championships as a Polish domestic rider. In 2012, Vaculik won his first ever Grand Prix as part of the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix, 2012 World Championship, he won the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix of Poland in Gorzów. Andriy Karpov
Andriy Karpov (born 16 January 1987) also spelt Andriej Karpov is a motorcycle speedway rider from the Ukraine. Career Karpov came to prominence when competing the Polish leagues, initially for the Ukrainian teams in Polish Speedway Second League but then in the Ekstraliga for Rzeszów in 2006. It was during 2006 that he won a silver medal at the European Individual Speedway Junior Championship. He quickly gained full international caps for the Ukraine national speedway team and represented them in the European Pairs Speedway Championship. Karpov reached the final of the 2008 Speedway Under-21 World Championship and started competing in the Individual European Championship, where he won a silver medal at the 2009 Individual Speedway European Championship. Grzegorz Walasek
Grzegorz Walasek (born 29 August 1976) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who has ridden for the Polish national team and has also competed in the Speedway Grand Prix series. Career Born in Krosno Odrzańskie, Poland, Walasek began his senior career in 1993 with ZKŻ Zielona Góra, and won the Polish Under-21 Championship in 1997. In 2000, he began riding in the UK with Poole Pirates. In 2004, he won the senior Polish individual championship. He was part of the Polish team that won the Speedway World Cup in 2005 and 2007. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Krystian Pieszczek
Kristian Pieszczek (born 23 September 1995) is a Polish speedway rider. Career Born in Gdańsk, Pieszczek first had success as a junior in 2007. He made his Polish league debut in 2011 for Wybrzeże Gdańsk, going on to ride for the club in the Ekstraliga in 2012. He won the Bronze Helmet in 2012 and 2013, and in 2013 was also part of the victorious Polish team in the European Junior Championships. In 2015 he moved to Falubaz Zielona Góra. After finishing seventh in 2014, in 2016 he finished runner-up (to Max Fricke) in the World Under-21 Championship, won the Silver Helmet competition, and finished fourth in the Polish Individual Speedway Championship.
