Gabi Hollows
Gabrielle Beryl Hollows (' O'Sullivan; 21 May 1953) is an Australian orthoptist. An Australian Living Treasure, she was also given the ''Advance Australia Award'' for Community Service, and was made ''Paul Harris Fellow'' by Rotary International. She was married to the Australian ophthalmologist Fred Hollows from 1980 until his death in 1993. Early life Hollows was born in Newcastle, New South Wales, and raised on an orchard near Gosford on the Central Coast of New South Wales. She first became interested in medicine when she had eye surgery at the age of three. Career In 1972, she graduated as an orthoptist from the NSW School of Orthoptics, specialising in disorders of eye movements and associated vision problems. Colin Wayne Dunsford is a retired Australian accountant and company director. He was a partner at Ernst & Young until 2010 and continues there as a member of the firm's advisory board. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics. Ivor Arthur Davies, AM (born 22 May 1955), known professionally as Iva Davies, is an Australian singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Davies' music career spans more than 40 years. He came to prominence in the early 1980s as co-founder and lead singer of rock band Icehouse, becoming one of Australia's top rock stars of that decade. He is the only member who has been with Icehouse throughout its entire history. In addition to his work with Icehouse, Davies has made music for television series and films, most notably as the composer for the film '' Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World''. Kim Carpenter
Kim David Carpenter is an Australian visual artist, theatre director, designer and devisor. For thirty years he was artistic director of his company, Kim Carpenter's Theatre of Image. Early life Carpenter was born in Newcastle, New South Wales in 1950. He moved to Sydney as a teenager to train as a painter. He studied production at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1968 and 1969. He also studied at Motley Theatre Design Course in London in 1971. Biography During the 1970s, Carpenter designed for the Melbourne Theatre Company and Sydney's Nimrod Theatre Company. He was, for a short period, co-Artistic Director of Nimrod in the early 1980s. In 1988, Carpenter established Theatre of Image as Sydney's first visual theatre company. Ronald Leslie Burns AM (born 8 September 1946) is an Australian retired rock singer-songwriter and musician. He fronted the Melbourne band "The Flies" in the early 1960s, followed by a solo career into the 1970s and was a member of Burns Cotton & Morris in the 1990s. He retired from performing in 2000. Mike Brady (musician)
Michael Brady (born 28 February 1948) is an English-born Australian musician, most commonly associated with the Australian rules football anthems "Up There Cazaly", referring to 1910s St Kilda and 1920s South Melbourne player Roy Cazaly, and " One Day in September", which were released by The Two-Man Band. Both songs have become synonymous with Australian rules football and are traditionally sung on AFL Grand Final day in September. Major General Peter Warwick "Gus" Gilmore, (born 31 January 1962) is a retired senior officer of the Australian Army. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, he was commissioned into the Royal Australian Infantry Corps in 1983 and spent much of his career in special forces.
