Phoenix FC
Phoenix FC was an American professional soccer team based in Phoenix. The team was a member of the USL Professional Division, the third tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team's colors were red and white. History On June 18, 2012, BDR Sports LLC was incorporated in the State of Arizona to bring a professional soccer team to Phoenix. On July 2, 2012, the USL Pro awarded a franchise to the BDR group for the 2013 season. On July 15, the team announced they had hired David Robertson, Director of Boy's Coaching at Sereno Soccer Club, as head coach. He is a former Rangers, Aberdeen and Leeds United player. He also managed Elgin City and Montrose in the Scottish Third Division. The team name ("Phoenix City FC") and colors were announced the same day. On August 28, the team selected Umbro as the team's official football uniform and equipment supplier. Titan Stadium (Cal State Fullerton)
Titan Stadium is a 10,000-capacity multi-purpose stadium on the campus of California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, California. History Scheduled to open in time for the 1991 football season, delays caused the opening date of Titan Stadium to be pushed back until 1992. Despite originally being planned as the home stadium for the Cal State Fullerton Titans football program, the delays in stadium construction put in question the possibility of the team actually taking the field. Budget cuts and strict NCAA regulations eventually signaled the end of the football program in 1992 after playing one season at the stadium. Since Titan Stadium was designed to host the football team, it is one of the most lavish soccer stadiums in Southern California. Amenities Titan Stadium has 2,000 chairback seats and 2,500 bleachers seats with backrests on the western side of the stadium. Dom Dwyer
Dominic James Dwyer (born July 30, 1990) is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward. Born in England, he represented the United States national team. While in England, Dwyer represented, among other teams, Norwich City as a youth. In 2009, he moved to the United States on a soccer scholarship and played for Tyler Junior College and the South Florida Bulls. He was drafted by Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer in 2012, and won the MLS Cup with them in 2013. In 2017, he joined Orlando City SC in the largest transfer between two MLS clubs. Renan Felipe Boufleur (born January 4, 1990) is a Brazilian footballer. Cyprian Hedrick
Cyprian Hedrick (born 6 October 1989) is a former Cameroonian footballer who is currently an assistant coach for FC Tulsa in the USL Championship. Career Hedrick played his college career at both San Jacinto College and Coastal Carolina University between 2007 and 2011. During this time he also appeared for USL PDL club Fresno Fuego from 2009 to 2011. Hedrick was selected with the 30th overall pick in the second round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by Sporting Kansas City. Andrew Weber (born August 9, 1983) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Sporting Arizona FC. Career Youth and College Weber played college soccer at the University of New Mexico where he holds UNM's career records for games played (83), minutes played (7,681), goalie wins (50), saves (350), and shutouts (25). He also played with the Cape Cod Crusaders and the Indiana Invaders in the USL Premier Development League, and was part of the squad which won the 2003 PDL title. Kyle Alexander Hoffer (born October 26, 1989) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Hoffer grew up in Bardonia, New York, and attended Albertus Magnus High School, where he earned team MVP honors in 2005 and 2006 and was named the 2006 Rockland County's Player of the Year. Scott Alexander Morrison (born 23 May 1984) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played for Aberdeen, Dunfermline Athletic, Ross County, Phoenix FC and Arizona United.
