The 2013 PBZ Zagreb Indoors was an ATP tennis tournament played on hard courts indoors. ATP World Tour 250 Series
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Marcos Baghdatis
Marcos Baghdatis ( el, Μάρκος Παγδατής, ar, ماركوس بغداتيس; ; born 17 June 1985) is a Cypriot former professional tennis player. He was the runner-up at the 2006 Australian Open and a semifinalist at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships, and reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 8 in August 2006. In the latter part of his career, Baghdatis endured a series of injuries that impacted his play. Łukasz Kubot
Łukasz Kubot (; born 16 May 1982) is a Polish professional tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion in doubles, having won the 2014 Australian Open with Robert Lindstedt, as well as the 2017 Wimbledon Championships with Marcelo Melo. Kubot has won 27 doubles titles on the ATP Tour, including 4 at Masters 1000 level, all alongside Melo. Kubot and Melo also finished runners-up at the 2018 US Open and 2017 ATP Finals. Filip Veger (born 21 December 1994, in Slatina, Croatia, Slatina) is a Croatian tennis coach and former professional tennis player. Career Veger made his Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP main draw debut at the 2013 PBZ Zagreb Indoors where he came through qualifying defeating Simon Greul, Kamil Čapkovič and Ante Pavić. He lost in the first round to Lukáš Rosol, 6–2, 6–4. As a singles player, Veger reached a career high of 478 in February 2015. Philipp Petzschner (born 24 March 1984) is a retired German professional tennis player. He was known for his hard-hitting forehand and bursts of speed around the court. Michael Berrer (born 1 July 1980) is a German retired professional tennis player. He reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 42 in May 2010. Antonio Veić (born 18 February 1988) is a Croatian former professional tennis player and current coach. His highest singles ranking is 119, which was reached on 14 May 2012. Tennis career 2009 Veić received a wild card for Zagreb Indoors and caused an upset as he beat ex-top 10 player Guillermo Cañas 4–6, 6–4, 6–2.
