2013 Norwegian First Division
The 2013 1. divisjon (referred to as Adeccoligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian second-tier football league season. The season began on 7 April 2013 and was concluded on 3 November 2013. The league was contested by 16 teams. The top two teams were promoted to the Tippeligaen, while the teams placed from third to sixth place played a promotion-playoff against the 14th-placed team in Tippeligaen to win promotion. The bottom four teams were relegated to the 2. divisjon. Background From the 2012 1. divisjon, Start and Sarpsborg 08 won promotion to Tippeligaen, while Stabæk and Fredrikstad were relegated to the First Division. Hamarkameratene (literally ''the Hamar Comrades''), often abbreviated to HamKam or Ham-Kam, is a Norwegian football club based in the town of Hamar. The club was founded in 1918, originally under the name Freidig. HamKam were most recently promoted to the Eliteserien in 2021. Follo Fotballklubb is a football club from Ski, Viken, Norway. Follo play in light blue, and their home ground is Ski stadion. It was founded in September 2000 and their biggest achievement was playing in the 2010 Norwegian Football Cup Final. History It was founded in September 2000 as an umbrella team for the football departments of five local teams; Ås IL, Oppegård IL, Langhus IL, Ski IL and Nordby IL. Follo's had a good Norwegian Cup run in 2006, when they made it all the way to the quarter finals, eventually losing at home 0-1 to the cup finalists Sandefjord. But on the way to the quarters they beat defending holders Molde. Four years later, in 2010, they made it to the Norwegian Cup final, beating Tippeligaen club Lillestrøm 4-2 in the third round, and then later Rosenborg 3-2 in the semi finals. 2014 Tippeligaen
The 2014 Tippeligaen was the 70th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 28 March 2014, two weeks later than in the previous season. A three-week summer-break in June was scheduled due to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the decisive match was played on 9 November 2014. Strømsgodset were the defending champions. Bodø/Glimt and Stabæk joined as the promoted clubs from the 2013 1. divisjon. They replaced Tromsø and Hønefoss who were relegated to the 2014 1. divisjon. Alta Idrettsforening is a sports club from Alta, Norway. The club is most known for its association football department, which played in the 1. divisjon until 2014. Alta currently plays in 2. divisjon, the third tier of the Norwegian football league system. Bærum Sportsklubb is a Norwegian association football club founded on 26 March 1910. The men's team is currently playing in the Norwegian Second Division, after being relegated from the 1. divisjon in 2015.
