The 2013 Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 23rd edition of the tournament, played from 23 to 28 September 2013 at The Langley Events Centre in Langley, Canada. The event served as qualifier for the 2013 FIVB Men's World Grand Champions Cup. Matt Anderson (volleyball)
Matthew John Anderson (born April 18, 1987) is an American professional volleyball player. He is part of the US national team, a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship, 2014 World League and 2015 World Cup winner. He is a multiple winner of the CEV Champions League with the Russian club Zenit Kazan. At the professional club level, he plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg. Personal life Matthew Anderson was born in Buffalo, New York to Michael and Nancy Anderson on April 18, 1987. His father died in January 2010. He is the youngest of five children, having three older sisters named Jennifer, Joelle, and Amy and one older brother named Joshua. Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson (born May 8, 1993) is an American professional volleyball player. He is part of the US national team, and is a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship, the 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup winner. At the professional club level, he plays for Zenit Kazan. Personal life Christenson was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Robert and Charlene Christenson. His parents both attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where his father, Robert, played basketball and his mother, Charlene, won three volleyball national championships and was named a two-time All-American. His sister, Joanna, played volleyball at Southern Utah University. Daniel Vargas (volleyball)
Daniel Vargas (born 1 September 1986) is a Mexican male volleyball player, a member of Mexico men's national volleyball team, where he played at the Olympic Games 2016 Rio, and at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Poland. Before joining the national team, Daniel played for Pumas UNAM, while doing his masters and undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Byron Ferguson
George Gordon Byron, 6th Baron Byron (22 January 1788 – 19 April 1824), known simply as Lord Byron, was an English romantic poet and peer. William Reid Priddy (born October 1, 1977), known as Reid Priddy, is an American volleyball player on the United States men's national volleyball team and Italian club Cucine Lube Civitanova. He has also played on the AVP tour from 2000 to 2006. As of 2009, Priddy has resumed playing on the AVP Tour. High school and personal life Priddy was born in Richmond, Virginia, to Ken and Sharon Priddy. He started playing volleyball after his family moved from Richmond to Florida, where he tried it in a summer-school P.E. class. John Speraw
John Speraw (born October 18, 1971) is an American volleyball coach. He is the head coach of the men's volleyball team at United States national team and UCLA. He was the former coach of UC Irvine volleyball program where he led the team to three national titles in six years. Speraw graduated from UCLA in 1995 with a B.S. degree in micro-biology and molecular genetics. Player Speraw played on the UCLA Bruins men's volleyball team. He was a middle blocker and helped the Bruins win two NCAA National Championships. He was a member of the California Epsilon chapter of Phi Kappa Psi while at UCLA. Blair Cameron Bann (born 26 February 1988) is a Canadian male volleyball player. He is a member of the Canada men's national volleyball team and German club Düren, a participant in the 2016 Summer Olympics, and a gold and silver medalist at the NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013. Men's NORCECA Volleyball Championship
The NORCECA Men's Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of North America, Central America and the Caribbean, organized by the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation ( NORCECA).
