2013 Lakoseljac Cup
The 2013 Milan Lakoseljac Cup was a domestic soccer cup competition held in Tasmania which was held from March to June 2013. The tournament which was the 43rd edition of the Lakoseljac Cup featured twenty teams from three regional competitions in a knockout format with the Victory League teams plus four third division teams getting a first round bye. In the final, it was won by Olympia who defeated Tilford Zebras 4–2 in the final to claim their fifth state title. First round A total of 16 teams took part in this stage of the competition. Olympia Football Club Warriors, known as Olympia FC Warriors, is a professional association football club based in Hobart, Australia. The club competes in the Southern Championship. The club also fields teams in all junior and youth divisions. Olympia play their home games at Empire Couriers Park, formally known as Warrior Park, in Warrane, Tasmania. Glenorchy Knights Football Club is an Australian association football club based in Glenorchy, Tasmania. Founded in 1957, the club competes in Australia's second-tier National Premier League, with matches played at KGV Park. History The club was founded in 1957 as Glenorchy Croatia, and experienced almost immediate success, winning the state title for the first time in 1963. KGV Park
KGV Park, or simply KGV (King George V) is home to Football Federation Tasmania, the governing body for association football in Tasmania, and home to the Glenorchy Knights football team. It is referred to as the Home of Football in Tasmania. It is located in the heart of Glenorchy less than 1 kilometre from the Glenorchy CBD, 7 kilometres from Hobart City. Current use KGV is home to the Glenorchy Knights football club who play home matches in the NPL Tasmania and lower grades at the ground. South Hobart Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in Hobart, Tasmania. Founded in 1910, the club currently competes in the NPL Tasmania. Launceston City Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in Launceston, Tasmania. The club was founded in 1957 and currently participating in the Tasmanian NPL Tasmania since 2013, run by the governing body Football Federation Tasmania. Clarence United Football Club was an amateur soccer club based in the City of Clarence, Tasmania, which competed in the NPL Tasmania, the second tier of the sport in the country below the A-League. Founded in 1978 the club spent much of its early history competing in lower divisions, where it has been reasonably successful, winning several lower division titles and cups. Ulverstone Soccer Club, is a soccer club which represents Ulverstone in the Tasmanian Northern Championship. The club also fields teams in all junior divisions, as well as women's teams. Ulverstone play their home games at the Ulverstone Show grounds, in Ulverstone, Tasmania. University Soccer Club is a soccer club which represents the University of Tasmania in the Tasmanian Southern Championship which fields both men's and women's teams. History The university first competed in the KO Cup in 1957, although it is believed football was played here prior to this time. They did well in their inaugural year, although drawing the KO Cup final 1–1 against South Hobart, they won on the toss of a coin. Northern Rangers Football Club is a soccer club which represents Launceston in the Northern Championship. They previously competed in the second-tier NPL Tasmania, but they decided to drop back to the third tier after the 2018 season.
