2013 La Manga Cup
The 2013 La Manga Cup was an exhibition international club football (soccer) competition featuring football club teams from Europe, which was held in February 2013. All matches were played in La Manga Stadium in La Manga Club, Spain. This was the sixteenth La Manga Cup. Teams The following eight clubs participated in the 2013 tournament: * Aalesund * Astra Giurgiu * CSKA Moscow * Kalmar * Lillestrøm * Nordsjælland * Start * Vålerenga Standings With only six teams entered, the 2012 version of the Cup was contested in a Round Robin style format, wherein each participating team played against three of the other seven teams entered in the competition, with the winner determined by points earned. 2012 La Manga Cup
The 2012 La Manga Cup was an exhibition international club football (soccer) competition featuring football club teams from Europe, which was held in February 2012. All matches were played in La Manga Stadium in La Manga, Spain. This was the fifteenth La Manga Cup. The tournament was won by FC Nordsjælland, who beat Vålerenga on goal differential after both clubs finished with identical records of two wins and one draw. Joshua John
Joshua John (born 1 October 1988) is a footballer who plays as a forward. Born in the Netherlands, John represents Aruba internationally. Club career Sparta Rotterdam Joshua John came through the youth departments of SV Koedijk, Ajax, RKC Waalwijk and Sparta Rotterdam. He made his professional debut on 10 May 2007, coming on as a late substitute for Marvin Emnes, in a 3–2 loss against N.E.C. in the play–offs. John made his first appearance of the 2007–08 season in the league match against Groningen on 29 September 2007, coming on as a substitute for Sjaak Polak, in a 1–0 loss. Espen Hoff (born 20 November 1981) is a retired Norwegian people, Norwegian professional association football, footballer, born in Larvik. Martin Sebastian Andersson (born 15 July 1991) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln. Club career Early career Andersson started out playing youth football for his hometown club Ängelholms FF when he was five. A couple of years later he also simultaneously started playing for Vinslövs IF. Torgeir Børven (born 3 December 1991) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Norwegian club Vålerenga. Thorstein Helstad (born 28 April 1977) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Helstad was born in Hamar, and started his career in his local club FL Fart where he at age 16 scored two goals against Løten in 1993 that made the team win promotion to 3. divisjon. He transferred to the local Norwegian First Division side HamKam, at the age of 18, and played for the club between 1995 and 1997. Helstad joined the Tippeligaen side Brann ahead of the 1998 season.
