2013 Kremlin Cup
The 2013 Kremlin Cup was a tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the 24th edition of the Kremlin Cup for the men (18th edition for the women) and part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series of the 2013 ATP World Tour, and of the Premier Series of the 2013 WTA Tour. It was held at the Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia, from 12 October through 20 October 2013. Richard Gasquet and Simona Halep won the singles titles. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Alexandr Dolgopolov
Alexandr Oleksandrovych Dolgopolov (born 7 November 1988), formerly known as Oleksandr Dolgopolov Jr., is a Ukrainian retired professional tennis player. He changed his forename spelling to the current form in May 2010. Dolgopolov reached the quarterfinals of the 2011 Australian Open – Men's singles, 2011 Australian Open and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 13 in January 2012. Lu Yen-hsun (; born 14 August 1983) is a Taiwanese retired professional tennis player, who goes by the nickname Rendy Lu. He won the most titles on the ATP Challenger Tour in tennis history. His favorite surface is hardcourt, though several of his ATP Tour career highlights came on grass, including reaching the quarterfinals of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships. Martin Kližan (; born 11 July 1989) is a Slovak former professional tennis player.
