2013 Japan Golf Tour
The 2013 Japan Golf Tour was the 41st season of the Japan Golf Tour. The season consisted of 25 official events, mostly played in Japan. The first two tournaments of the year were played in Thailand and Indonesia, also being co-sanctioned by the OneAsia Tour. This was the first time that the Japan Golf Tour had ventured outside Japan. Unofficial events The following events were sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour, but did not carry official money, nor were wins official. Park Sung-joon ( ko, 박성준; born 9 June 1986) is a South Korean professional golfer. Park played on the Japan Golf Tour, where he got one win, the 2013 Vana H Cup KBC Augusta. He ended 5th in the money list that season. In 2014 he joined the Web.com Tour. He finished 44th in the Web.com Tour Finals to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2014–15 season. Vana H Cup KBC Augusta
The KBC Augusta is a professional golf tournament that is held in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The title sponsor is the Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting and it is held in August. Since its foundation in 1973, it has been an event on the Japan Golf Tour. Since 1992, the KBC Augusta has been played at Keya Golf Club near Itoshima. is a Japanese professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Sonoda was born in Tokyo. He was first trained by his father. After that he has been taught by golf teaching pro, Todd Baker, since he was 10 years old. When Sonoda visited Gold Coast, Australia with his family at age 13, he decided to study in Gold Coast because the town has many golf courses. He spent two years in a junior high school there to pursue his golf game further. He won the Japan National Junior Golf Championship. Since 1998, the event has been prefixed , with the top finishers gaining exemptions into The Open Championship.
