Glen Alan Phillips (born 22 November 1982) in Farnborough, Kent, is a former motorcycle speedway rider from England. Career Phillips represented the Great Britain national speedway team at Under-21 level. His primary club while riding in the British speedway leagues was the Isle of Wight Islanders. He was part of the Isle of Wight four who won the Premier League Four-Team Championship, held on 8 July 2007, at the East of England Arena. In 2015, Phillips was part of the British team with Richard Hall, Andrew Appleton and James Shanes that won the world championship gold medal at the 2015 Team Long Track World Championship. It was the first time that Britain had won the event. David Peter Howe (born 1 March 1982) is a British former professional motorcycle speedway rider. Career Born in Leicester, England, David Howe started his career on 31 March 1997, aged 15, with the Peterborough Panthers team in the Conference League (speedway), Conference League. He is a three-time Speedway Grand Prix, Grand Prix participant, having been awarded wild card places for 2003 Speedway Grand Prix series in Britain and Slovenia. He also featured as a wild card for the 2007 Speedway Grand Prix of Great Britain, awarded to him after finishing runner-up in the 2007 British Championship. Theo Pijper (born 11 February 1980) is a Dutch motorcycle speedway rider. Career Born in Dokkum, Netherlands, Pijper first rode a motorbike at the age of five. He was a successful long track rider before starting his speedway career. He made his debut in British speedway in 2002 with Edinburgh Monarchs, staying with the team until 2007 in a spell that included a Premier League title in 2003. In 2004 he won the European Grasstrack Championship at Eenrum. In 2007 he moved up to the Elite League with Wolverhampton Wolves, but after losing his place in the team returned to the Monarchs for a short spell, later moving to Berwick Bandits. He lost his team place once again, but later that season won the European Grasstrack Championship for a second time. He joined Elite League team Swindon Robins in 2008, but lost his place in June, going on to a spell with Mildenhall Fen Tigers in the Premier League.
