2013 IRB Pacific Nations Cup
The 2013 Pacific Nations Cup rugby union tournament was held between five national sides in the Pacific Region: Canada national rugby union team, Canada, Fiji national rugby union team, Fiji, Japan national rugby union team, Japan, Tonga national rugby union team, Tonga, and USA national rugby union team, USA. Samoa national rugby union team, Samoa were the reigning champion after they defeated Fiji national rugby union team, Fiji in the 2012 IRB Pacific Nations Cup, 2012 competition but took the year off to compete in a tournament with South Africa, Scotland and Italy in the 2013 mid-year rugby test series#South African quadrangular tournament, South African Quadrangular Tournament. Harumichi Tatekawa
is a Japanese rugby union player who can play either as a fly-half or centre. He plays for the Kubota Spears in Japan and the in the international Super Rugby competition. Career Tatekawa started his professional career in Japan's Top League playing for Kubota Spears in Chiba. His impressive record made the former national coach Eddie Jones recommend him to Brumbies' boss Stephen Larkham. Yoshikazu Fujita (藤田 慶和, born 8 September 1993 in Kyoto) is a Japanese international rugby union player. After impressing the coaches with his form playing for the Japan sevens team, Fujita was selected for the Japan national rugby union team and became the youngest ever player to play for Japan when he took the field against the UAE in May 2012 at the age of 18 years and 210 days in his hometown of Fukuoka. On his debut as Japan youngest ever player he scored 6 tries. Angus Gardner
Angus Gardner (born 24 August 1984) is an Australian rugby union professional referee who was appointed to the Super Rugby referees panel in 2012. His first match in Super Rugby was between the Queensland Reds and Melbourne Rebels at Suncorp Stadium in March of that year. Gardner took up refereeing in 1999 at the age of fifteen, and became a full-time referee in 2015. He was appointed to his first test match in November 2011, which was an Oceania Cup match between Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu in Port Morseby. Fangatapu Apikotoa, (born 31 August 1983) is a Tongan rugby union player who currently plays for the Tautahi Gold in the World Rugby Pacific Challenge. His preferred position is fly half but also can slot into the centre and full back positions. Eddie Aholelei (born 3 December 1981) is a retired professional rugby union footballer. His regular playing position is prop. Early career Aholelei is of Tongan descent. He was born in Auckland, New Zealand but grew up in Tonga most of his life with his parents and 4 brothers and represented Tonga at Under 19 World Cup 2000 in France. Aholelei moved to Sydney, Australia after high school and joined the Manly Marlins rugby club colts in 2001. William Helu (born 19 April 1986) is a Tongan rugby union player. His usual position is on the wing or at centre. He is part of the Tonga national rugby union team and was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Helu was part of the Tongan squad that defeated France in the pool games at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Ayumu Goromaru
is a former Japanese rugby union player who played at Fullback (rugby union), fullback for Yamaha Júbilo as well as the Japan national rugby union team.
