2013 IIHF World Championship Division II
The 2013 IIHF World Championship Division II was a pair of international Ice hockey tournaments run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Group A was contested in Zagreb, Croatia, running from 14 to 20 April 2013 and Group B was contested in İzmit, Turkey, running from 21 to 27 April 2013. Divisions II A and II B represent the fourth and the fifth tier of the Ice Hockey World Championships. Andy Sertich
Andy Sertich (born May 6, 1983) is a former American-Croatian professional ice hockey player whose final team before retirement in 2017 was the Nottingham Panthers of the British EIHL. Playing career As an amateur he played hockey for one of the strongest American collegiate teams the University of Minnesota. Through four years of playing with the Gophers his teammates were today's stars such as Thomas Vanek, Paul Martin and Phil Kessel. In the four years of playing in the WCHA Sertich played 171 games with 27 goals and 39 assists. Sertich was selected in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft 136th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins, though he never played for them. In the 2008–09 season he played for the ECHL League team Utah Grizzlies, where in over 62 games he scored 12 goals and had 24 assists, which saw him as the best defender on his team by points. John Hećimović (born March 31, 1984) is a Canadian-born Croatian former professional ice hockey player. He most notably played in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga with KHL Medveščak and Dornbirner EC. Hećimović's ancestors hail from Perušić in Lika. Playing career Hećimović was selected in the 9th round (264th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers. John was drafted from Major Junior Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League. In his fifth season with the Sting ( 2004–05) he was traded to the Mississauga IceDogs to finish his junior career. Joel Melvin Prpic (; born September 25, 1974) is a Canadian-born Croatian former professional ice hockey player of who played in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins and the Colorado Avalanche before ending his career with Croatian team, KHL Medveščak Zagreb, in the Austrian Hockey League. Borna Rendulić
Borna Rendulić (, born 25 March 1992) is a Croatian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for HC Sochi of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Rendulić began playing hockey in Croatia and made his professional debut with KHL Medveščak in 2006, before moving to Finland in 2011 in order to further his career. He played for several teams in both the top-tier SM-liiga and second-tier Mestis, then moved to North America in 2014 when he signed a contract with the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. Rendulić made his NHL debut that year, the first Croatian-trained player to do so, but spent most of the following two seasons with the Avalanche minor-league affiliates in the AHL. Mislav ( la, Muisclavo) was a duke () in Croatia from around 835 until his death around 845. Mislav came to power at some point after Vladislav as the Duke of Dalmatian Croatia.
