The 2013 season is the Harrisburg City Islanders's 10th season of competitive soccer - its tenth season in the third division of American soccer and its third season in USL Pro since the league was first created with the City Islanders as one of the original 10 founder-members. Sainey Touray was the sole member from Harrisburg to make the first team, while goalkeeper Nick Noble and Lucky Mkosana - HCI's top scorer - were picked for the second team. Harrisburg City Islanders
Penn FC (formerly the Harrisburg City Islanders) was an American professional soccer team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Founded in 2003, the team most recently played in the USL Pro, the second tier of the United States soccer league system. In October 2018, the club formally announced it will not participate in the 2019 season and would have resume play in 2020 as a member of USL League One, a league in the third tier. On November 15, 2017 the team was rebranded as Penn FC. The rebrand served in conjunction with a partnership with Rush Soccer youth development program. Penn FC served Rush Soccer's professional team and the club's most important piece to their extensive network. The team played its home games at FNB Field on City Island. The team's colors were blue, black and grey corresponding to Rush Soccer's branding established in 1997. Greg Jordan
Gregory Jordan (born April 5, 1990, Naperville, Illinois, United States) is a former American soccer player. Career College Jordan played college soccer at Creighton University between 2008 and 2011. During his time at Creighton, Jordan was named NSCAA All-American Second Team in 2011 as a senior, as well as the All-Missouri Valley Conference First Team as both a junior and senior. Professional Jordan was drafted in the second round (32nd overall) of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by Philadelphia Union. Jordan was loaned to USL Pro club Harrisburg City Islanders in June 2012. The Union declined to renew Jordan's contract at the end of their 2013 season. He joined Minnesota United FC of the North American Soccer League ahead of the 2014 season. Jordan joined the San Francisco Deltas ahead of the 2017 season. Drew Yates
Drew Yates (born May 14, 1988, in Severna Park, Maryland) is an American soccer player. Career College and amateur Yates attended Archbishop Curley High School and DeMatha High School, played club soccer for the two-time national champion Casa Mia's Bays, and later attended the U.S. Soccer Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida. He was named the Washington Post Player of the Year and the Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year in 2006 and was a three-time NSCAA All-American. He played four years of college soccer at the University of Maryland, and helped them to the NCAA Division I title in 2008. He ended his career at Maryland scoring 14 goals and having 13 assists, totaling 47 points for the squad, and received numerous honors, including ACC All-Academic, Second Team All-Atlantic South Region and Second Team All-ACC selections. Leo Fernandes
Leonardo Fernandes (born 23 December 1991) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship. Early life Fernandes was born in São Paulo but raised in North Babylon, New York, and played at Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2012. In his senior season at Stony Brook, the left-footed Fernandes started all 18 matches and led his team in goals (9) and assists (7). Andrew Ribeiro (born October 22, 1990) is an American soccer player who plays for National Independent Soccer Association club Chicago House AC. Prep career In high school, Ribeiro played four years of varsity soccer at Green Bay's Notre Dame Academy. Motala AIF is a Swedish football club located in Motala in Östergötland. Other sports that the club promotes include athletics, orienteering, ice hockey, road cycling, and skiing. Background Since their foundation on 29 August 1907 Motala AIF has participated mainly in the upper and middle divisions of the Swedish football league system.
