2013 GCC U-23 Championship
The 2013 GCC U-23 Championship was the fifth edition of the GCC U-23 Championship. It took place in Riffa, Bahrain for the first time. Six nations took part. The competition was held in Riffa from 15 to 26 August. The hosts Bahrain won their first title after defeating title holders Saudi Arabia 1–0 in the final. The 2013 edition was officially known as the Huawei GCC National Teams Under-23 Championship owing to sponsorship by Huawei. Saleh Al Jamaan Al-Amri ( ar, صالح آل جمعان العمري; born 14 October 1993) is a Saudi professional footballer who plays as a winger for Pro League club Al-Ittihad and the Saudi Arabia national team. Career On 10 May 2014, Al-Amri joined Al-Ahli on a four-year contract. On 25 August 2016, Al-Amri joined Al-Ettifaq on a one-year loan. Kuwait has thrice been suspended by FIFA for political interference since 2007 and were allowed to participate in the 2011 Asian Cup qualifying campaign and other international competitions on a provisional basis. Mohamed Ibrahim Abdullah Kanno ( ar, محمد إبراهيم عبد الله كنو; born 22 September 1994) is a Saudi Arabian football player who plays as a central midfielder for Al-Hilal. Club career Ettifaq Kanno was playing at Ettifaq in 2013–2017, but they were relegated in 2014. In 2016, Kanno helped his team get back into the league. He left in 2017 to join Al-Hilal.
