2013 FINA Diving World Series
The 2013 FINA Diving World Series is the 2013 edition of FINA Diving World Series. The divers who participate are the current world and olympic champions and runners-up, the top 8 divers in the world rankings and along with some wild cards from either the host nation or from certain countries which had previously qualified athletes for the World Series. FINA Diving World Series
The FINA Diving World Series is a diving competition series held annually since 2007. This series is held around the world (the current series includes 4 events) where the divers collect points depending on their results to determine the World Series champions. This series is reserved for only the best divers in the World and national wild cards. Most of the divers are medallists from previous Olympics, World Championships and World Cups. List of FINA Diving World Series Overall ranking Overall ranking is based on the combined results from the legs of the series. Divers earned points based on placement at each competition. For individual events, points were counted separately for each person. For synchronized events, points were combined for each country – some countries had different pairs compete at the different legs of the series. Evgeny Kuznetsov (diver)
Evgeny Vladimirovich Kuznetsov (russian: Евгений Владимирович Кузнецов; born 12 April 1990) is a Russian diver. At the diving portion of the 2011 World Aquatics Championships he won a bronze in the 3 m springboard, and was the part of the pair who won the silver medal in the 3 m synchronised springboard. Kuznetsov won a silver medal for his country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, in the 3 m synchronised springboard with Ilya Zakharov. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, Kuznetsov again competed in both the 3 m springboard and the 3 m synchronised springboard diving. Wu Minxia
Wu Minxia (; born 10 November 1985) is a retired Chinese Diving (sport), diver, specializing in the 1 metre and 3 metre springboard, and synchronized 3 metre springboard events. Entering her first major championship in 2001, Wu represented China at every Asian Games, Olympic Games and FINA World Aquatics Championships through 2016. She is an eight-time world champion, and a five-time Olympic and Asian champion, making her one of the most decorated divers in history. Career Wu began her competitive career at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships, partnering with Guo Jingjing to win the 3 metre women's synchronized springboard. Shi Tingmao (; born 31 August 1991) is a Chinese diver representing Chongqing diving team. She has been dominant in the 3 metre springboard events in the 2010s. She has won four gold medals in Olympic competitions, two at the 2016 Olympics and two more at the 2020 Olympics. She also holds eight golds in the World Championships. Dato Pandelela Rinong Pamg, (born 2 March 1993) is a Malaysian diver. She has won two Olympic medals and seven World Championships medals. Pandelela represented Malaysia at the 2008 Summer Olympics where she finished 27th in 10m platform. She won the gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She was chosen to be the flagbearer of Malaysia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She went on to win the bronze medal in the 10m platform, becoming the first Malaysian female athlete to win an Olympic medal, as well as the first in any sport other than badminton. Meaghan Benfeito
Meaghan Benfeito (born March 2, 1989) is a Canadian diver. She used to compete in the 10m synchronized event with Roseline Filion before the latter retired in January 2017. Benfeito and Filion won bronze medals in the 10 m platform synchro event at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics, and in the latter event Benfeito also won a bronze medal in the 10 m platform individual event. Chen Ruolin (; born 12 December 1992) is a Chinese diver. Her most recent competition saw her win the synchronized 10 metre platform diving event with her partner Liu Huixia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Tania Cagnotto (; born 15 May 1985) is an Italian diver. She is the first female Italian diver to win a medal in a World Championship. A five-time Olympian, she won medals in both individual and synchronized springboard diving in her final appearance at the Olympics in 2016. She is also a 20-time champion at the European level. Biography Tania Cagnotto was born in Bolzano, the daughter of Giorgio Cagnotto and Carmen Casteiner. Jennifer Abel (born August 23, 1991) is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Iván Alejandro García Navarro (born 25 October 1993) is a Mexican diver. He is nicknamed "Pollo" ("Chicken"). He competes in diving and represented Mexico at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
