2013 Desafio Internacional Das Estrelas
2013 Desafio Internacional das Estrelas was the eighth edition of Desafio Internacional das Estrelas (''International Challenge of the Stars''), the races scheduled for 12–13 January 2013 at Kartódromo do Beto Carrero World at Penha, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The event was won by Jules Bianchi after he won the race 1 and finished in fourth position in race 2. Desafio Internacional Das Estrelas
The Desafio Internacional das Estrelas ("International Challenge of the Stars" in Portuguese) is an annual charity kart race organised by Felipe Massa since 2005. The first edition was held on Kartódromo Toca da Coruja on Bauru. For 2006 at 2008 the challenge was moved to Kartódromo dos Ingleses on Florianópolis and since 2009 at Arena Sapiens Park, also at Florianópolis. Notably, top level Brazilian drivers have competed in the event, such as Felipe Massa, Bruno Senna, Rubens Barrichello, Tony Kanaan, Hélio Castroneves, Lucas di Grassi and Nelson Piquet Jr. Also Brazilian drivers on the national championship such as Stock Car Brasil and Fórmula Truck. 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship Season
The 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship was the inaugural running of the World Endurance Championship. It was co-organised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO). The series replaced the former Intercontinental Le Mans Cup held by the ACO from 2010 to 2011. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes and grand tourer-based racing cars meeting four ACO categories. Several championships, cups, and trophies were awarded in the series' four categories following an eight race season, with a World Championship available to the top scoring drivers and LMP1 category manufacturer. Felipe Nasr
Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr (born 21 August 1992) is a Brazilian racing driver. He is the 2018 IMSA Sportscar champion and won the 2019 12 Hours of Sebring. After a year as the official test driver for Williams in 2014, he joined Sauber as a full-time Formula One driver in 2015. However, from the 2017 season he was replaced by Pascal Wehrlein. From 2018, Nasr has been competing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Whelen Engineering Racing, winning the championship with co-driver Eric Curran in his first year in the series and winning another title with countryman Pipo Derani in 2021. 2012 Super GT Season
The 2012 Autobacs Super GT Series was the twentieth season of the Japan Automobile Federation Super GT Championship including the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) era and the eighth season as the Super GT series. It also marked the thirtieth season of a JAF-sanctioned sports car racing championship dating back to the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. The season began on April 1 and ended on November 18, 2012, after eight championship races and a non-championship race. João Paulo Lima de Oliveira (born 13 July 1981) is a Brazilian professional racing driver currently competing in the Japanese Super GT series. He won the Super GT GT300 class championship in both 2020 and 2022 and the Formula Nippon championship in 2010. The 2012 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters was the twenty-sixth season of premier German touring car championship and also thirteenth season under the moniker of Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since the series' resumption in 2000. The 2012 Brasileiro de Marcas season was the second season of the Brasileiro de Marcas. It begin on April 22 at the Interlagos and ended on December 2 at the Curitiba, after sixteen races. Several changes occurred in the championship. Mitsubishi entered with the 2012 version of Mitisubishi Lancer GT, Honda changed to the ninth generation Honda Civic, Chevrolet used Chevrolet Cruze which replaced the Chevrolet Astra, and Toyota became an official manufacturer on the championship with Toyota Corolla XRS.
