The 2013 Chesapeake Bayhawks season was the 13th season for the Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse. The Bayhawks concluded the year with a 9–5 record, good for 2nd place in the MLL and defeated the Charlotte Hounds 10–9 in the MLL Championship Game to win the franchise's fifth Steinfeld Cup. Dave Cottle
Dave Cottle is a retired American field lacrosse, lacrosse coach. He was a consultant for Marquette University, when they added men's and women's varsity lacrosse on December 16, 2010. He was previously the head coach for the Maryland Terrapins lacrosse, Maryland Terrapins men's lacrosse team at the University of Maryland, College Park, University of Maryland from 2002 to 2010. Cottle also coached the Loyola Greyhounds men's lacrosse, Loyola College men's lacrosse team from 1983 to 2001. College career Cottle attended Northern High School (Baltimore), Northern High School in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He later enrolled at Salisbury University, Salisbury State University in Salisbury, Maryland, where he played lacrosse from 1975 to 1978. During his playing career, he set numerous school and NCAA records.
