2013 Challenge Tour
The 2013 Challenge Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2013 season. Challenge Tour Rankings ''For full rankings, see 2013 Challenge Tour graduates.'' The rankings were based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Euros. The top 15 players on the tour earned status to play on the 2014 European Tour. Brooks Koepka
Brooks Koepka (, born May 3, 1990) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LIV Golf tour. In October 2018, he became world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking for 47 weeks after winning the 2018 CJ Cup. He won the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018, and the PGA Championship in 2018 and 2019, becoming the first golfer in history to hold back-to-back titles in two majors simultaneously. He started his career on the European Challenge Tour and eventually the European Tour. He played college golf at Florida State University. Koepka claimed his first major championship at the U.S. Open in 2017 at Erin Hills, Wisconsin. He successfully defended his title in 2018 at Shinnecock Hills on Long Island, the first golfer to win consecutive U.S. Opens since Curtis Strange in 1988 and 1989. Dylan Ashley Frittelli (born 5 June 1990) is a South African professional golfer. He currently plays on the PGA Tour where he won the John Deere Classic in 2019. He previously played on the European Tour where he won twice in 2017, the Lyoness Open and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. Amateur career Frittelli won the 2007 Callaway Junior World Golf Championships for boys aged 15 to 17. Frittelli played college golf at the University of Texas, where he won the decisive match to lead his team to victory at the 2012 NCAA Championship. He represented South Africa in the Eisenhower Trophy in 2008 and 2010. The Kärnten Golf Open was a golf tournament on the Challenge Tour, played in Austria. It was held for the first time in 2009. It was contested over the Pete Dye designed course at the Golf Club Klagenfurt-Seltenheim in Klagenfurt from 2009 to 2012. In 2013 it moved to Jacques Lemans Golf Club in Sankt Georgen am Längsee. Simon Thornton
Simon Thornton (born 18 March 1977) is an Irish professional golfer. He won the 2013 Najeti Hotels et Golfs Open on the European Tour. Career Thornton was a late starter to golf, only taking up the sport in his late teens and turning professional at the advanced age of 28. He began as an assistant club professional at Royal County Down, playing in regional Irish PGA events, where his achievements included recording four straight monthly wins with the Ulster Golfers Alliance. He began playing on the Challenge Tour in 2009, finishing 51st before earning his European Tour card at qualifying school at the end of the season. His debut season on the full tour was unsuccessful, and he returned to the Challenge Tour for 2011, finishing in 12th position to secure a quick return to the European Tour. The Saint-Omer Open is an annual men's professional golf tournament played at Saint-Omer Golf Club in Saint-Omer, France. The tournament was founded in 1997 and was part of the MasterCard Tour a year later, before taking its place on the Challenge Tour for the 2000 season. Daniel Gaunt (golfer)
Daniel Stephen Gaunt (born 14 November 1978) is an Australian professional golfer. Gaunt was born in Lancefield, Victoria near Melbourne. His brother Chris is also a professional golfer. He lives in New Malden, England, with his wife, Caroline, and four children. He tied with Terry Pilkadaris for the Australian Medal in 1997 and turned professional in 1999. His nickname "Peter Pan" comes from the fact he’s always fighting a hook. Gaunt qualified for the European Tour via qualifying school at the end of 2003.
