2013 CME Group Titleholders
The 2013 CME Group Titleholders was the third CME Group Titleholders, a women's professional golf tournament and the season-ending event on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. It was played November 21–24 at the Gold Course of Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The top three finishers who were LPGA members from each official LPGA tournament, not otherwise qualified, earned a spot in the Titleholders. If tied, the player with the lower final round score qualified. Shanshan Feng posted rounds of 67 and 66 on the weekend to win with a score of 273 (−15), one stroke ahead of runner-up Gerina Piller. The winner's share was the largest of the year at $700,000, 35% of the $2 million purse. Beatriz Recari Eransus (born 21 April 1987) is a Spanish professional golfer on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career Born and raised in Pamplona in northern Spain, Recari began playing golf at age 11 and enjoyed a successful amateur career, with wins at the 2004 Spanish Amateur Championship and the 2005 French Amateur Championship. Caroline Hedwall
Caroline Ingrid Hedwall (born 13 May 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the LPGA Tour. In 2013 she became the first player to win five matches in a single Solheim Cup event. Kraft Nabisco Championship
The Chevron Championship is a professional women's golf tournament. An event on the LPGA Tour, it is one of the tour's five major championships, and has traditionally been the first of the season since its elevation to major status in 1983. Founded in 1972 by singer and actress Dinah Shore and Colgate-Palmolive chairman David Foster, it was played at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California from its inception through 2022. Melissa Linda "Mo" Martin (born October 8, 1982) is an American professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour. Her sole win on the tour was a major championship, the Women's British Open in 2014. College career Martin played college golf all four years at UCLA, walking-on as a freshman. The JTBC Classic Presented by Barbasol, formerly the Kia Classic, is a women's professional golf tournament in Southern California on the LPGA Tour. It debuted in 2010 at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, then moved north for a year in 2011 to the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms in the City of Industry in Los Angeles County. The tournament returned to La Costa in 2012 and moved to Aviara Golf Club, also in Carlsbad, for 2013. Jessica Regina Korda ( cs, Jessica Kordová) (born February 27, 1993) is an Czech-American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Korda was a member of the 2009 U.S. Junior Solheim Cup and the 2010 U.S. Curtis Cup teams. Angela Gwen Stanford (born November 28, 1977) is an American professional golfer who currently competes on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Born and raised in Saginaw, Texas, Stanford won the Fort Worth Girls Championship four times (1993–1996), the 1996 Texas State 4A High School Championship and the 1996 PING Texas State Junior Championship. The Cognizant Founders Cup is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Clifton, New Jersey. It debuted in 2011 at the Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. The tournament is designed as a tribute to the founders of the LPGA. The current title sponsor of the tournament is Cognizant, an American multinational technology company that provides business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing services.
