2013 Aegon International
The 2013 Aegon International was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 39th edition of the event for the women and the 5th edition for the men. It was classified as a WTA Premier tournament on the 2013 WTA Tour and as an ATP World Tour 250 series on the 2013 ATP World Tour. Grass Court
A grass court is one of the four different types of tennis court on which the sport of tennis, originally known as "lawn tennis", is played. Grass courts are made of grasses in different compositions depending on the tournament. Although grass courts are more traditional than other types of tennis courts, maintenance costs of grass courts are higher than those of hard courts and clay courts. Grass courts (in the absence of suitable covers) must be left for the day if rain appears, as the grass becomes very slippery when wet and will not dry for many hours. This is a disadvantage on outdoor courts compared to using hard and clay surfaces, where play can resume in 30 to 120 minutes after the end of rain. Guillaume Rufin (; born 26 May 1990) is a French professional tennis player. His highest singles ranking is World No. 81, achieved in September 2013. He received a wildcard into the 2009 French Open, his Association of Tennis Professionals, ATP-tier debut. Ryan Harrison
Ryan Harrison (born May 7, 1992) is an American professional tennis player. Harrison has won one career ATP title in singles at the 2017 Memphis Open to go along with four in doubles, including the 2017 French Open. Before turning 16, Harrison was regarded a prodigy after cracking the top 10 in the junior rankings and becoming one of the youngest players ever to win an ATP match. James Ward (born 9 February 1987) is a British former professional tennis player. He is a Davis Cup champion and former British No. 2. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 Aegon International and the semifinals of the 2011 Aegon Championships as a wildcard entry.
