2012–13 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2012–13 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 22nd since its establishment in 1991 and fifth since its reorganisation. A total of sixteen teams participated in the league, the best 14 sides of the 2011–12 season and two promoted clubs from the 2011–12 Ukrainian First League. The season commenced on July 13, 2012 when Karpaty Lviv visited Lutsk and played a 1–1 draw against Volyn Lutsk. The competition had a winter break that began on 2 December and resumed on 1 March 2013 when Volyn Lutsk visited Donetsk and played against Shakhtar Donetsk. The ending date of the competition was 26 May 2013. Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Shakhtar Donetsk set a new Ukraine Premier League record for number of goals scored in one season. It is the second season in the league when no clubs were relegated. WFC Naftokhimik Kalush
Naftokhimik Kalush (Ukrainian: "Нафтохімік" Калуш) was a Ukrainian professional women's football club from Kalush, Ukraine. They played in dark blue shirts and dark blue shorts at home and when they are away they play in white shirts and white shorts. FC Enerhetyk Burshtyn was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. History The club was formed in 1948 and was previously called ''Kolhospnyk'' (Collective] farmer), ''Avanhard'' (Vanguard) and ''Henerator'' (Generator). The club played in the Ivano-Frankivs'k oblast league and in the 1990s and after steadily improving they won the Oblast Championship in 1998. They also entered the Ukrainian Football Amateur Association, Ukrainian Amateur Championships and were undefeated champions in that season. FC Avanhard Kramatorsk
Football Club Kramatorsk is a professional Ukrainian football club from the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast. The club takes its history from a factory team of the Old Kramatorsk Machine-building Plant (SKMZ). History The club Avangard was reformed in 1955. Prior to World War II there existed a club that was associated with the machine industry in the city. In 1937, the club participated in the national championship as the champion of Ukraine. FC Poltava
FC Poltava ( uk , ФК Полтава) was a Ukrainian football club based in Poltava in 2007–2018. History The club was created by the newly elected mayor of the Poltava city Andriy Matkovsky (2006-2010) who is the club's Honorary President and the main sponsor. FC Poltava entered the professional leagues for the 2007–08 season in the Druha Liha B without playing a single game at amateur level. The Persha Liha ( uk, Перша ліга) or Ukrainian First League is a professional football league in Ukraine and the second tier of national football competitions pyramid. Members of the league also participate in the Ukrainian Cup. It is the highest division of Professional Football League. History The league was set up by the newly reorganized Football Federation of Ukraine (a successor of the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR) with the falling apart Soviet Union as a second tier, lower than Ukrainian Higher League (Vyshcha Liha) and higher that Ukrainian Transitional League (Perekhidna Liha).
