2012–13 Sheffield Wednesday F.C. Season
During the 2012–13 season, Sheffield Wednesday Football Club competed in the 2012–13 Football League Championship, the FA Cup and the League Cup. Sheffield Wednesday have stayed in the Football League Championship after recently being promoted from the Football League One the previous year. They were managed by Dave Jones, while the club's chairman was Milan Mandaric. Their league season kicked off on 18 August 2012, while the League Cup began a week earlier as they entered at Round 1 of the competition. Stocksbridge is a town and civil parish, in the City of Sheffield, in South Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it lies just to the east of the Peak District. The town is located in the steep-sided valley of the Little Don River, below the Underbank Reservoir. Matthew Tumilty (born 9 November 1993) is an English footballer who plays full back for Team Northumbria of the Northern League. Career Tumilty joined Sheffield Wednesday after a successful trial in 2010. Clinton Hubert Morrison (''né'' Chambers; born 14 May 1979) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. Since his retirement from playing he works as a pundit. Jon Otsemobor (born 23 March 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right back. Born in Liverpool, he began his career with hometown club Liverpool. Richard Mark O'Donnell (born 12 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Blackpool. Having started his career with Sheffield Wednesday's youth system, O'Donnell progressed to the first team where he was largely used as an understudy goalkeeper.
