2012–13 Ram Slam T20 Challenge
The 2012–13 Ram Slam T20 Challenge was the tenth season of the Ram Slam T20 Challenge, established by the Cricket South Africa. The tournament was previously known as the MiWay T20 Challenge and the Standard Bank Pro20 Series. The tournament was played between 15 February and 7 April 2013. The Highveld Lions cricket team, Highveld Lions beat the Titans (cricket team), Titans in the final by 30 runs to win the tournament. Venues Rules and regulations The tournament is divided into a group stage and a knockout stage. In the group stage, teams face each other in a double round-robin tournament (i.e. each team plays every other team twice, once at home and once away). At the end of the group stage, the top team qualifies for the final. The teams in second and third take part in a play-off match with the winners contesting the final. Cricket South Africa
Cricket South Africa (CSA) is the governing body for both professional and amateur cricket in South Africa. Centurion, Gauteng
Centurion (previously known as Verwoerdburg and before that Lyttelton) is an area with 236,580 inhabitants (2011 census) in the Gauteng Province of South Africa, between Pretoria and Midrand (Johannesburg). Senwes Park
Senwes Cricket Stadium is a Cricket ground in Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa. It has hosted two Test matches, with the first in 2002. The Highveld Lions also play some home matches here. It is also home to AFL South Africa, the Australian rules football, body responsible for developing the game in that country and the stadium is home to the South African national Australian rules football team, the ''Lions''. On 29 October 2017, the venue hosted its first T20I match for South Africa against Bangladesh, which was the 100th T20I for South Africa. De Beers Diamond Oval
The De Beers Diamond Oval is a cricket stadium in Kimberley, Northern Cape, South Africa. It opened in 1973 and has a capacity of 11,000. It is currently used mostly for cricket matches and is the home venue of both the VKB Knights, in the Sunfoil Series, and Northern Cape (formerly Griqualand West), in the CSA Provincial Competitions. Griqualand West left the old De Beers Stadium ahead of the 1973–74 season and have been resident at the Diamond Oval since then. The ITEC Knights are a Division 1 cricket team representing the province of Free State in South African domestic competitions. The Knights take part in the CSA 4-Day Series first-class competition, the Momentum One-Day Cup and the Mzansi Super League T20 competition. Mangaung Oval, previously known as Springbok Park, Chevrolet Park, Goodyear Park, and OUTsurance Oval, is a cricket oval in Bloemfontein, South Africa. City Oval
City Oval (formerly Alexandra Park and sometimes called the Pietermaritzburg Oval), is a multi-purpose stadium in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. The 12,000 capacity stadium is currently used predominantly for cricket matches, with the ground being used by KwaZulu-Natal Inland men's and women's teams, KwaZulu-Natal and Dolphins (who also play at Kingsmead, Durban), and hosted two matches during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. The Hollywoodbets Dolphins are a cricket team representing the KwaZulu-Natal (Coastal) province in South Africa. Kingsmead Cricket Ground
Kingsmead is a cricket ground in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Its stated capacity is 25,000, although grass terracing makes up part of the viewing area. The 'end names' are the Umgeni End (north) and the Old Fort Road End (south). It is the home ground of the KwaZulu-Natal Dolphins. Cape Cobras
The Six Gun Grill Cape Cobras are a franchise cricket team representing the Western Province, Boland, and South Western Districts areas in South African domestic cricket.
