The Melbourne Victory 2012–13 season is Melbourne Victory's eighth A-League season. Season summary At the start of the 2012–13 season Ubay Luzardo and Jean Carlos Solórzano returned to their respective clubs after their loan deals had expired. In April 2012 Ange Postecoglou was appointed as Melbourne Victory manager. Veterans Grant Brebner and Ante Covic were released from Melbourne Victory. Fabio was then released and signed a two-year contract with archrival Sydney FC. In May 2012, it was announced that Carlos Hernandez had exited Melbourne Victory after the club couldn't come to agree a new deal with him as they attempted to slash costs to fit him into the salary cap. On 26 May, Matthew Kemp retired from the A-League. In June 2012 Harry Kewell quit Melbourne Victory to return to England to be with his family due to problems with his mother-in-law's health. Melbourne Victory Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Melbourne, Victoria. Adelaide United Football Club is a professional Association Football, soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. Spase Dilevski ( mk, Спасе Дилевски; born 13 May 1985) is an Australian former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Dilevski started his career as a junior for Victorian lower league team Sydenham Park where he was coached by Tony Ivanov and eventually played in their seniors at a very young age. It was club policy to promote talent into the senior team that was adopted by Bill Dimovski. After showing obvious talent and out-classing others many years his senior, the Victorian Institute of Sport recruited him. Dilevski was recruited by European clubs Tottenham Hotspur and PSV Eindhoven early in his career. Moreirense Futebol Clube is a Portuguese professional football club based in Moreira de Cónegos, Guimarães Municipality, in Minho. Jonathan Bru (born 2 May 1985) is a former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Born in France, he represented France at youth international level before playing for the Mauritius national team. He works as head coach of the Red Star reserves. Criciúma Esporte Clube, commonly referred to as Criciúma, is a Brazilian professional club based in Criciúma, Santa Catarina founded on 13 May 1947. Gold Coast United Football Club is an Australian soccer club based in Gold Coast, Queensland. The earliest incarnation of the club formed in 1966 and its home ground was at Nikiforides Family Park in Broadbeach. Adama Traoré (; born 3 February 1990) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays for A-League club Western Sydney Wanderers as a left back.
