2012–13 FC Dynamo Kyiv Season
The 2012–13 season was Dynamo's 22nd Ukrainian Premier League season, and their third season under manager Yuri Semin. Yuri Semin was sacked 24 September 2012 after losing by Dynamo to principal rivals FC Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Cup. On 25 September 2012, Oleh Blokhin was appointed new manager. FC Dynamo Kyiv
Football Club Dynamo Kyiv (, ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Kyiv. Founded in 1927 as a Kyivan football team of republican branch of the bigger Soviet Dynamo Sports Society, the club as a separate business entity was officially formed only in 1989 and currently plays in the Ukrainian Premier League, and has never been relegated to a lower division. The club has secured brand rights from the Ukrainian Dynamo society and has no direct relations to the sports society since 1989. Their home is the 70,050 capacity Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex. Since 1936, Dynamo Kyiv has spent its entire history in the top league of Soviet and later Ukrainian football. Danilo Aparecido da Silva (born 24 November 1986), or simply known as Danilo Silva, is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Artem Anatoliyovich Kravets ( uk, Артем Анатолійович Кравець; born 3 June 1989) is a Ukrainian footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Sakaryaspor. Club career Dynamo Kyiv 2007–2009: Early years Kravets appeared for regularly for the Dynamo Reserves and Dynamo-2 Kyiv until he was noticed by Dynamo's new coach Yuriy Semin, who took him to the main team in the 2007–08 season, who recognized the player's great potential. He made his professional debut on 17 June 2007 in the last championship round against Arsenal Kyiv, replacing Balázs Farkas at half time. Niko Kranjčar (; born 13 August 1984) is a Croatian former professional footballer. He primarily played as an attacking midfielder, but could also operate as a winger or second striker. As of 5 May 2021, he works as an assistant to Josip Šimunić at the Croatia national under-19 team. Oleh Anatoliiovych Husiev ( uk, Олег Анатолійович Гусєв; born 25 April 1983) is a retired Ukrainian football midfielder who played for FC Dynamo Kyiv. He mainly played as a right midfielder or a right-back. He made over 250 Ukrainian Premier League appearances for Dynamo, winning the league three times in addition to four Ukrainian Cups and five Ukrainian Super Cups. A full international since 2003, Husiev earned over 95 caps, making him the nation's third-most capped player and fourth-highest international goalscorer of all time. Marco Gastón Ruben Rodríguez (born 26 October 1986) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as striker. Admir Mehmedi (born 16 March 1991) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a second striker or centre forward for Süper Lig club Antalyaspor. He represented the Switzerland national team.
