2012–13 Cypriot Cup
The 2012–13 Cypriot Cup was the 71st edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 28 clubs entered the competition. It began on 31 October 2012 with the first round and concluded on 22 May 2013 with the final which was held at Tsirion Stadium. Apollon Limassol won their 7th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating AEL Limassol 2–1 ( aet) in the final. Format In the 2012–13 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division and the Cypriot Second Division. Teams from the two lower divisions (Third and Fourth) competed in a separate cup competition. The competition consisted of five rounds. In the first round each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Each tie winner was qualifying to the next round. Cypriot Cup
The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. It is the second most important competition for Cypriot club teams after Cypriot Championship. Only the Cypriot First Division and the second division teams are participating in the competition. The sponsor of the competition since 1962 is Coca-Cola and thus officially known as Cyprus Coca-Cola Cup. Akritas Chlorakas ( el, Ακρίτας Χλώρακας) is a Cypriot football club based in Chloraka, Paphos. The club was founded in 1971, and currently plays in the Cypriot First Division. Akritas' colours are green and white, and they play their home games at the Chloraka Municipal Stadium. Olympiakos Nicosia ( el, Ολυμπιακός Λευκωσίας, ''Olympiakos Lefkosias'') is a football club based in Nicosia, Cyprus and competes in the Cypriot First Division. Ermis Aradippou () is a Cypriot professional football club based in Aradippou, a settlement on the outskirts of the city of Larnaca. The club was formed in 1958, and currently plays in the Cypriot Second Division. Ermis' greatest success came in 2014, when they won the Super Cup. Ermis have a long-standing rivalry with their neighbouring club Omonia Aradippou. Anagennisi Deryneia ( el, Αναγέννηση Δερύνειας) is Cypriot football team based in Deryneia, Famagusta. The club was founded in 1920 and they joined the Cyprus Football Association in 1972.
